After the past 3 months that we have been living together with Grandpa Xiao and the elf Eve, Eve has become a part of our family. But somehow it's much nicer that way.

By now, I am in almost 5 months of pregnancy and my belly is clearly visible. The babies are very active as you can see from the movements of my belly. Especially when Zhan comes near me and talks to me, they are very active. They kick and box as if they want to get their dad's attention.

But I think that's also perfectly normal. After all, he is their dad and takes loving care of me. Every evening he lies with me on the sofa or in our bed and reads a whole hour out of a book for the twins. While he's doing that, he always strokes my belly very gently. And before we go to sleep, he always kisses me first and then my belly and wishes the three of us a good night.

As I mentioned before, Eve has become like a mother to us. We now know that she is actually already 67 years old and has 4 children of her own, they have also started their own families. And from her experiences in her pregnancies and those of her two daughters and the two daughters-in-law, she shares a lot with us.

My dad and my stepmother have visited us twice since my pregnancy became known. Each time they stayed with us for two weeks. My dad would have loved to stay with us. But then his granddaughter, the adopted daughter of my brother and Cheng, would be very, very sad. And that's why he always leaves with one eye laughing and one eye crying. He loves the little one very much, at the same time it was just a lot of fun for him to tease his unborn grandchildren.

Quite often when my dad found that his grandchildren were too quiet in my belly, he would lightly shake my belly and wake the little ones up. He even drove an ice cube over my belly and one of the twins kicked it. Or he would ring a bell in front of my belly and you could see that there was a tiny bump on my belly right where my dad rang the bell.

My stepmom spent a lot of her time here teaching Eve how to knit and things that human women do in their spare time. The two of them even went out partying together. They stayed in town one night for that. Of course, she had also spent time with me. We went for walks together, went shopping in the city, and watched an episode of her favorite TV show together every evening.

With all the back and forth and the hustle and bustle around me and our unborn sons, Zhan is very careful to make sure that none of our visitors overdo it and that I have enough time to rest and relax. Every evening he gives me a relaxing bath, massages me and creams me from head to toe.
