In which N finds out the harsh consequences of going behind his best friend's back and freeing a psychopath from their restrains.

Angst? Sad? Betrayal? I don't really know how to put this one to be honest-

This time perhaps more V and N centered. Kinda starting to like the idea of a psycho getting kinda sane from bonding with an edgy teenager and a sweetheart idiot.

Anyways, enjoy!

Also headcanons-

Also this time without a pic sadly, because I wasn't sure what to draw in here- sorry! :"DD

The wind was whizzing by as flakes of snow fell onto the desolate planet's ground. The sky wasn't really clear today as lots of clouds covered most of the moonshine. A signal of an oncoming snowstorm.

Uzi had left just as the sun set, and she hasn't come back yet. N wasn't really worried, because she said she'd be in her colony's bunker, taking care of some things. He knew she would be safe. And if the storm would get too strong, he knew she'd be clever and stay with her colony for the time being.

What got him uneasy right now tho, was his old teammate and the only Disassembly drone he had feelings for. V. She hasn't stopped talking since Uzi left. Not that it was a bad thing, oh no, of course not! He was glad she was talking!

It's just what she has been saying all this time. He had a feeling, a nagging little voice in the back of his motherboard, that all she had said sounded manipulative. That wasn't the worst part though.

What N felt absolutely horrified about was the fact, that he found himself giving in to the other's pleads more and more the more she begged. It sent a shiver down his core.

Each and every time he heard her speak, he knew it was a try to manipulate him. To try and make him do what she wants. And he hated how easily he was giving in to it. He hated how his self esteem and mentality is so broken thanks to J, that he doesn't, no, that he can't fully understand the clear manipulative words.

He cannot see the lies that are as clear as day. Another bad thing is that he knows it. He knows she's manipulating him. But he can't bring himself to do anything about it. Because his poor broken mind can't decide whether it's real or manipulation.

The lines between abuse and friendly bickering have become so blurred that he still, to this day, doesn't differentiate it. It just feels the same. Uzi was a big help in recovering at least some of his self-esteem, yet the damage done was far greater than what she can fix in the same amount of time like she had now.

"Come on, N! If you let me go now, the Company will be appreciative and you'll get branded pens! And maybe, if we rebuild J's body and bring her back, you'd be the new leader! Wouldn't you want that? Wouldn't you want to be useful? We'd listen to every command, N ..." She cooed at him, nothing but disgusting lies leaving her lips.

And yet, N found himself quite enchanted by her saying this. Something about this made him feel ... quite honoured .. He knew it was all lies! He knew it! But the thought of being a leader again.

The thought of finally being a leader again after J forced that title away from him with a nasty fight that wasn't even needed. The title she stole from him. The title she deserv- NO! She didn't deserve that title, listen to yourself, N!

"I- I ... the Company - ... w- would they really ...?" He had asked, unsure. Damn it, N! "YES! Yes, they would! They would praise you for not betraying them!" She continued. "B-but I did betray th-" He tried to say, yet being cut off.
