"Hello Midoriya... Just had a really bad day, is all..."
I replied giving him a small smile.
"Wanna talk about it?"
I could trust Midoriya, right? He's my friend... He wouldn't do anything to hurt me on purpose... Would he?
"Mindi-san?"
I quickly snapped out of my thoughts.
"Oh ah- Yeah I guess... Also just 'Mindi' is fine..."
I replied. He smiled and gave me an embarrassed smile...
"O-oh are you s-sure?"
"Yes, we're friends, right? So it's fine..."
I smiled at him.
"O-okay then, you can call me Izuku..."
"I like that name.... I-zu-ku."
I tested the new name on my lips.
"So what happened today?"
He asked. I let out a sigh.
"The exam was fine at first. I had about 8 points before I saw someone that needed help and I couldn't just stand and watch, Izuku... Then when I helped them, then I got caught in Bakugou's crossfire and hit my head..."
I paused, looking at him to see if he's still listening.
" I blacked out... And then some super pushy teenage boys confronted me on my way here."
Izuku perked up at that statement.
" D-did they do something? "
He asked with a rather serious expression on his face.
"They didn't get the chance... I walked away."
He let out a sigh of relief.
"I don't know what to do, Izuku..."
I felt like I was about to burst. Sadness, anger, frustration, disappointment, all those feelings were stirring around in my mind and they were driving me crazy.
"What do you mean?"
He questioned.
"I've been training for this day since I was 6 and that wasn't even enough! Why the hell am I so damn weak?!"
I felt tears run down my cheeks. I was crying.
"All I ever wanted was to make my parents proud! I wanted to be a Gaurdian to the citizens, but how the fuck am I supposed to do that if I can't even pass U.A's stupid exam?!"
"Mindi..."
I sniffed, wiping my tears away. At this point the whole café was probably looking at me. I didn't care.
"I failed Izuku... Not only the exam, but as daughter and a sistertoo..."
