I woke up at 10 am, later than I would have liked, but it worked. I did my afternoon pre-hit routine. Shower, breakfast, walk, lunch, hit. Then a nap if it went well. I grabbed the same rifles I had used the other day and put them in my duffel. I grabbed my phone and texted Barry that I was on his way over to his place and left.

I arrived at his house and parked. I locked the car and hopped out. He was waiting outside standing awkwardly on the sidewalk. I walked up to him

"Hey." He said.

"Hi." I dead-panned. I still didn't fully trust him. He was so aggressive and his height added to his mysterious mystique. We stood on the curb together not saying anything until finally, Taylor and his friends pulled up.

"Barry! My dude! How's it been bro?" He asked. He must've been in a frat. I thought to myself.

"Oh. My. God. Is that your girl?? Damn!" He said excitedly. Barry seemed to get uncomfortable and I shifted in my shoes. Barry spoke up,

"Oh, heh, no. We work together and I thought we could use some extra help." He looked down at his shoes.

"Whatever you say man." He said teasingly as he smirked.

Barry and I walked over to the car and we both got in the back seat. We buckled up and Taylor drove down the road. The man in the passenger's seat introduced himself to me as Vaughan, the guys had all met in the Marines. I nodded as Barry and I sat there awkwardly. I asked how long the drive would take, and Taylor said an hour at least so I closed my eyes and took a nap.

A little while later I woke up to the car being jostled around. We had made it to an airbase and Taylor was speeding down the dirt road like a mad man. Barry seemed worried as I looked over to him. He looked at me wide eyed and he asked Taylor to slow down.

"Hell no man! Wooohooo!" He seemed like he was having the time of his life, and Vaughan was encouraging it.

"Seriously Taylor, slow down!" He started to raise his voice, pleading with Taylor to stop driving so damn fast. I started yelling too and then we saw them.

The Bolivians.

Their plane was positioned perfectly on the dirt and their henchmen had their rifles aimed at us. Taylor and Vaughan didn't seem to care though. They might as well have been blind. And then everything stopped. It happened in slow motion, the bullets smashing through the glass and nailing Taylor and Vaughan. They slumped over and Barry screamed. The car flipped and skidded of the road into the grass. Then I fell I asleep.
