{Calum}
It's been three months since Ashton moved back in with me and the guys. I feel kind of bad that this is the first time we're hanging out together properly since he apologised, but things have just been a bit hectic lately. We've been writing and recording some new material, and we're looking to do a small six week tour in a couple of months, once Evie's dance recital is done.
Luke, Michael and I decided that there was no way we were missing it, Ashton agreed without hesitation, he didn't really have a choice, I guess. He seems a lot different now though. Ashton was smiling more, seemed more content. This thing with him and Evie didn't seem as bad anymore either, they weren't friends, but it was like they came to some sort of truce.
Neither of them would talk to each other, all they did was acknowledge the others presence with a nod, and I noticed whenever it became too much for one or the other, that they would leave the room for a little while, then come back a few minutes later, ready to carry on with what we were doing. It was nice without the fighting, I won't lie, but it was still weird to have them not talk at all. It was just a confusing situation.
As we walked through the market Ashton had suggested we go to, we talked about random things, admired the strange little trinkets and hand made items, and pretty much got caught up with each other's lives. Apart from what happened with Evie at her house last month, Ash had still been pretty distant.
I was glad when he had agreed to hang out with me, I knew he and Michael were on good terms. I remember they had talked for hours after we had gotten home from the bedroom incident with Evie. Luke had kind of lost it when he found out, picking up his stuff and going over to Tracy's. I still don't get why he's angry at Ashton, especially since Evie seems fine now.
I took in the sun, smiling at the slight breeze. I look over at Ashton, he had his head down and I noticed he was texting, a small smile played on his lips. I was happy he was happy. I had no idea who this girl he'd been seeing was, but he had the brightest smile and his eyes seemed to shine when he'd told me about her.
She was the reason why he'd been so distant, going out at all hours. He'd said that what they had was uncomplicated but at the same time not. He wouldn't tell me her name, mentioning that they had a 'booty call' thing going on, hence the random 'walks' he's been going on. I didn't believe him though. No one talks about a fuck buddy the way he was talking about this girl.
He explained that they had been doing this for about four months. That to me was already a solid foundation for a relationship, I told him this, he said that would never happen. Ashton was still a bad liar, and there was a hint of sadness in his eyes, the first in the whole time he'd been talking about her. My best friend was falling, if he hadn't already, and it seemed like he didn't even realise.
"Is that her?" I asked, nudging his shoulder.
He looked up at me, "Yeah."
"You're so whipped, man." I laugh.
"Shut up. I already told you we're..." but I cut him off.
"Hey, isn't that Alex?" I point towards one of the stalls.
"I wouldn't know." He shrugs.
"Let's go say hello." I motion for him to follow.
"Nah, man, I'm good. You go. I'll meet you at the coffee shop we saw when we came in." He smiled.
"Alright, I won't be long." I watched him leave then made my way towards Alex.
I walked through the crowd, keeping an eye on her. She was with a few friends and she was smiling, so I hope that's good. I mean, her and Evie were together for three months, it isn't weird if I go and just say hello. I noticed her friends stepping away from her and decided this was my chance. I jogged to her slightly, tapping her shoulder, when she turned around she seemed shocked, but then smiled.
