Arriving on the block, out of the two Josuke stepped up at the short food cart with a friendly smile as he began ordering for himself. While the other teenager stood silently with both hands holding his school's case. "Okuyasu?" Josuke followed up, "Huh? What's up bro?" responding with. "Aren't you going to check what they have for you to eat? They got some good food you'll be begging to be eating by now!" Josuke chirped as he shook his fists excitedly at the other.

Okuyasu just huffed. While he inched closer to the cart as he eyed the first thing in front of him. "I'll take a small bowl of rice balls with palm nut soup." Okuyasu pointed it out, as he tucked his case under his arm. "I'll also take a calpis water." Okuyasu mumbled while he stepped away to allow Josuke to pay.

Both boys now sat on the edge of the sidewalk, not too far from their school. Josuke enjoying his food and Okuyasu had already finished his meal but with a sick expression on his face. "Man! I guess you really were hungry, Okuyasu!" the other joked, stuffing his mouth with more food he ordered. The Nijimura kept quiet, staring at his milky drink in both hands. "Josuke! Okuyasu!" a higher pitched voice yelled not to far as a gray headed boy ran over to the two. "Oii Koichi! We're you coming from?" Josuke responded as he revealed the name of the younger classmate. "I was just coming home from lunch! You know since it's Thursday, my mom and sister were interested in me coming home to eat with them." he responded truthfully as he spoke with a hand rubbing the back of his head, sheepishly. Koichi making visible contact with the empty food tray from okuyasu and Josuke's over stuffed face.

"By the looks of it from you guys. You guys are coming back from also buying lunch." the shorter, lower classman said with the tilt of his head. As silence fell between the three until once again Josuke piped up. "Yeah! the new food cart by St. Gentlemen's? Ran by a sweet lady who also gave us complimentary dango." forcing another mouthful into his face. Causing Koichi to laugh at the childish action by the Jojo. "I doubt you guys saved any for me." he said jokingly, expecting another response but from Okuyasu. But all fell silent again.

"Next time your mother or Yukako doesn't bring you lunch, I'll consider bringing you back something." Josuke responded with a cheeky smile that resembled a cat and furrowed eyebrows. "You really mean it Josuke?" Koichi exclaimed as both his first balled up excitedly as he looked up at the Jojo. As the Higashikata nodded. "Wow Josuke! you really are someone who can count on." Koichi fiddled with his own hands, as he chuckled.

Okuyasu sat there awkwardly, with both his arms resting on his knees with his head down in between. Feeling his stomach disagree with him from eating his lunch. Both eyes shut tightly from how sick he was feeling. Maybe coming to school was a bad idea, Okuyasu thought. As he slowly made his way onto both his feet with a small tremble of his knees from feeling ill. "Oi Okuyasu. Are you alright, man?" Josuke piped in as he looked worried over his friend, leveling is eyes with Okuyasu's despite not making any eye contact. "Yeah. I'm good." Okuyasu said with a raspy, and tired tone. Keeping his hands away from his upset stomach and into his pockets.

"Okuyasu.. do you want to go to the infirmary..?" Koichi said as he stepped closer to the duo, as he could notice something wasn't right by the beads of sweat and a flushed done of red was starting to appear on the teenager's face. "I'm fine. I'm just tired." Okuyasu exhaled a puff of air as he wiped his forehead.

Feeling a hand set on his shoulder, being his best friend's. "C'mon Okuyasu, I think you should head home if you're really feeling tired." he mentioned. Though he knew something else was going on, he knew his best friend. And this wasn't him. "Yeah. We can stop by after school to see if we can help you feel better!" the shorter said, "I can ask Yukako to cook you some soup or something to help you feel better too! I'm sure she won't mind!"

"Quit it!" Okuyasu shouted at the two as he was hunched over in an aggressive stance. Keeping his distance from the two, who only looked confused and shocked from the response. "I don't need you both babying me and knowing what's good for me! I'm fine!" Okuyasu exclaimed as he pointed a finger at the two of them. "You guys are bossing me around, and I'm not liking it!" he said again as he cranked his head back to glare up at them with a huff out the nose in irritation. "Now if you guys don't mind. I got the rest of class to finish today, I don't have time to keep complaining." he muttered roughly, forcing himself past the two and into the building.

The two just stood their in complete awe as they watched the Nijimura step into the building.
