Chapter 16: Something that she knows

After they had broken down the fight Ashton took Adam outside and I went with Harry, Anna, Marlene and Nate to the kitchen.

Nate was breathless. He looked pallid, his jaw was swollen and his lower lip was bleeding.

"We need to take care of that" Anna said. "Can we go to your house, Via?" she asked me.

"Yeah, sure".

"Okay," said Harry. "I have to stay here and control the house but I'll come as soon as possible".

"I'm staying with you" said Marlene. "I get sick with blood".

"Okay, let's go".

Nate and Anna followed me to my house. My grandma was sitting on the couch when we entered and she screamed when she saw Nate's face.

"What happened?!" she asked.

"It's nothing, Grace. Just a fight I had to brake" answered Nate.

"Don't worry grandma. We're going to clean it, okay?" I said as Anna walked to the bathroom.

"Yes,... be careful".

"I think there's something over there that you could use" I told Anna pointing out a cabinet.

After she had cleaned Nate's face I asked: "Why were you fighting?"

Him and Anna traded glances. "Am I asking an obvious question or what?" I said.

"No it's just..." Anna said. "Do you know what we talked about the other day on the phone? When I told you that I knew something about Nate and that you needed to trust me?"

"Yeah, I remember" I said looking at Nate.

"Well, so it's related to that. We need to talk about it, alone. Me and Nate, I mean" Anna said.

"I'll tell you later Via. I promise" and after that I left.
