I looked at myself in the mirror one last time, my hair neatly styled and I was wearing semi-formal clothes. "I'm ready!" Alex ran in my room wearing a cute little red dress. I smiled down at her, "Aw, look at you. Why you dressed so nicely?"

"With both of us in pretty clothes, they'll have to let you work there!" She declared confidently. "Heh, wow that's a clever idea Lexy," I cooed. "We'd better get going then, so they can see how great we look" With a big smile, Alex took my hand pulled me along to my car. The two of us saying quick goodbyes to our parents as we left the house.

Looking up at the giant building in front of me, I was filled with awe. Meanwhile, Alex was trying her hardest to pull me forward into the Mega Pizzaplex. "Okay, okay. I'm going, I'm going," I chuckled as I finally started walking, making sure to hold her hand tightly so she wouldn't fall on her face. The inside was just as impressive, I could already tell just how much kids will and have gotten lost in the place. Moving away from the busy crowd of families, I stood away from the doors to scan the area for some place that was made for employees. "Ugh, this place already so big. How the heck am I supposed to find where I'm meant to go..." After a while, I decided to quit being stubborn and just ask for directions from one of the entrance guards, who kindly offered to take me where I needed to go. "Oh! Uh, but I have my sister here with me... Is there someplace I could leave her?"

"Sure, there's a daycare right in the lobby"

I looked down at Alex, "You ok with staying there until I finish?"

"Hmm... ok, but you better come get me right away!"

"Of course!"

After getting a daycare pass and dropping Alex off, I finally made it to where I'm meant to be. Which, took a while since the place was so big. Now in front of the big boss's door, I took a deep breath to calm my nerves and knocked. There was a pause before I heard, "Come in."

I entered the office and took a seat in front of him, he looked old, a little older than my dad. He had short, salt and pepper hair, a dark gray button-up shirt, and a name tag that said 'Scott'.

"So Y/N, you're applying to be a robot technician?" I nodded, "Yes, sir. I've studied robotics my whole life so I'm sure that I would be a good fit for the job." Scott chuckled, which confused me. "Look, you seem like a nice kid..." My eyes widened, am I getting rejected already? "But you really don't need to try so hard." Huh? "To be honest, no one else who applied came close to how much knowledge and effort you got"

"S-so..?" He chuckled again, "You got the job, kid."

My eyes widened, for a different reason this time. I smiled brightly at him "Thank you, sir! I promise to work hard, you won't regret it!"

"Oh, I'm sure I won't. You start Monday, in the meantime, take a look around the place, meet the people and animatronics."

I thanked him again, shaking his hand excitedly as I did. Before walking out the office as professionally as I could.

Then jumping around with joy once I was in the hall. "Yes! Yes!! Yessss!!!" I did a little victory dance before rushing off to get Alex, I want to get some celebratory pizza!

I got back to the lobby, giving the a thankful wave to that one entrance guard that helped me out. Once I reached the daycare, I looked around the place to find any H/C girl in a nice red dress. My eyes landed on Alex talking to some kids, standing in front of a Sun themed robot. Making sure I had the 'ok' from the guard at the daycare security desk, I walked over to Alex to see what was up.

"How would you feel if you got left out of other people's games?" Alex huffed. "Woah, woah, woah," I exclaimed. Now the group's attention was on me. "N/N!" Alex ran over to me and gave me a hug "Alex, what's going on here?"

She looked up at me with a pout "All the other kids keep running away from Mr. Sunny here, they won't let him join in any of their games!" A soft smile made its way onto my face as I gently patted her head "That's very nice of you 'Lex. But we can't force people to do something they don't want" She looked down at the ground sadly and turned to the group of kids, "Sorry..."

I looked over at the Sun guy who had a soft look in his eyes. All the other kids walked away from the three of us after Alex's apology, which gave the bot a chance to come up to me and Alex "That was very sweet of you new friend," he beamed. Which brightened Alex's mood. The sight was just too cute.

"If you want, we can stay with your new friend some more?" I asked, both of them looked at me with excitement. "Really?!" I nodded, "Sure, and if you two don't mind, I'd like to join in"

Alex looked up at the Sun "Oh, can they Mr. Sunny? Pleeeeaase?" The sun bot stood to his full height with his hands up in the air "Sure! The more, the merrier after all!" Alex squealed happily and ran ahead saying, "Yay! Let's go finger paint- oh wait, but we have nice clothes on- let's just draw normally!" I walked behind her and Sun skipped along beside me.

"Alex is a very nice girl!"

"Oh yes, she's one of a kind, honestly. I'm glad to see her sticking up for herself and you. Mr. Sunny?"

He giggled, "Sun, actually. But I LOVE the nickname!"

"Hehe, well I'm Y/N"

"GREAT to meet you, new friend!"
