'Make sure everything is ready for the show later. Check their instruments, accessories, etc.' That was the message that I got once I finished cleaning Chica. I thought I was just the robotics technician, not the stage manager for the whole robo-band. I looked over at Chica, "Hey... do you mind calling everyone down? And tell them to bring their instruments with too" She flashed me a smile, "Sure thing, hun."

Eventually, the band came down to Parts and Service with their instruments in hand. "What's up little guy?" I sighed, "Apparently, I'm also in charge of making sure you guys are stage ready." I paused as realization hit me "Except... I don't know anything about instruments..."

"Oh, you don't need to worry about that! We know our own instruments," Bonnie said, glancing at the others who nodded in agreement. "Well, that's good. I guess all I have to do is make you guys look prettier for the crowd then"

So I polished everyone up, it did take a while since they are giant animatronics but that's expected. I let everyone leave as soon as I was finished with them, Chica then Bonnie then Monty and Roxy. I was just finishing up cleaning Freddy when I remembered, he doesn't have an instrument but a mic. Now that was something within my knowledge. I gave the little device a quick look, it was wireless with a little antenna at the bottom of it. Freddy explains that the mic, "That automatically connects to the stage speakers once I'm onstage, otherwise it will just project my voice around the general area." I looked down at the mic again before handing it back to Freddy "That's cool"

It was tempting to test out if it really worked that way, but there was also the possibility that that's complete bullshit and I wasn't gonna risk embarrassing myself in front of a bunch of people by testing it out. There would be time to test that later.

20 minutes to showtime now, and all this running around the mall has got me thirsty. I could go for a milkshake right about now, so I made my way up to Bonnie Bowling.

I ordered myself a F/F milkshake and some fries, while the bot behind the counter worked I pulled my phone out to pass the time. A text popped up while I was scrolling through Tumblr, it was from the message group that I made with Johnny, Vincent, Casey and Laura.

'Awww aren't they a cute little family?' And then a picture of me earlier in the lobby, with my mom squishing my cheeks while Alex and dad watched.

'How could you do this to me Johnny D:<'

'Aww and is that ur sister?'
'Mama's kid lol'
'Lmao jealous of Y/N, Vincent?'

From that it devolved into Casey and Vince arguing, lucky for me, my order arrived in time for me to enjoy the chaos.

I finished my milkshake and fries when my phone rang, it was my dad calling. "Hello?"

"Hey kiddo! Your mom wants you to join us in the atrium, we got a table near the food counters." I faintly heard Alex's voice in the background before there was some shuffling noises from the phone "Come watch with us N/N!" Alex yelled into the phone, I pulled the device away from my ear because of the sudden volume. Thankfully, when I brought back to my ear, dad had the phone again. He chuckled, "You heard the little firecracker!" Before hanging up.

Then an announcement played through the speakers above, "The show will begin in 5 minutes." That was more than enough time for me to reach my family, they were only a level below me after all. I got up and made my way down to the bottom of the atrium, Saturday meant big crowds so it did take some effort to spot them.

"Hi baby!" My mom yelled once we locked eyes. Good thing that all these people were too excited about seeing the animatronics to care. "No need to scream mom," I said once I reached the table. "Actually, I do. There's a large crowd and it's very noisy," she said so matter-of-factly. "You know what I meant." She put her hands on her hips, ready to lecture me, but was interrupted by the announcement that plays when the show starts.

The familiar tune starts to play as the lights and smoke fill the stage, the opening number is the same song that plays in the elevators. You'd think by now I'd be sick of it but, honestly the song is pretty catchy. Everyone watched the glamrocks dance and groove on the stage, meanwhile I was looking down at my Fazwatch, hoping that no urgent message would pop up. I hummed along to the song, occasionally looking up at the stage.

"Come on buddy, all work and no play makes Y/N a dull nerd!" My dad nudged me and motioned to the band on stage. I sighed, "Fine." They'll be okay, I only cleaned them up for the show after all. I didn't tamper with anything, no one's gonna malfunction.

Ok, maybe I was worried over nothing. The first song went by with no problems, and the audience cheered, I clapped as well. It really felt like I was in a concert because when the song finished, Freddy started to work the crowd. Hyping up the others, greeting some birthday kids -I'm sure that must have cost their parents a lot of money- waving to the audience, etc.

The next song's music started to play and the crowd's energy picked up again, this song must be something specifically made by the Fazbear franchise judging from the lyrics that Freddy started to sing. The background music fit the style of the glamrocks but the lyrics themselves were pretty funny. Like, 'listening to a fandom parody of a song you know' kind of funny.
