Reader's POV
×~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~×Even if it technically wasn't a date, I decided to head home and get myself something nice to wear before the doors of the Pizzaplex closed. At the very least, I could wow Freddy with how I looked, maybe then he would get the hint.
I walked into the Pizzaplex, only to get wolf whistled by none other than, Vanessa. "Someone's all dressed up. Something special happening tonight?" I felt my cheeks go warm as I rolled my eyes at her teasing "No, nothing special at all." She looked at me curiously now "Ooh, that sounded a little mad. Did you want something to happen?"
I mentally debated on whether or not I should tell her, eventually I decided to and took a deep breath. "I realized that I liked Freddy and have been trying to ask him out all day but he just won't get the hint and keeps mistaking it as me wanting to just hang out as friends!" I closed my eyes, not wanting to make eye-contact with the first human I ever revealed this secret to. "...Huh, I always thought it would be Foxy," she finally said after a beat of silence.
My eyes snapped open and I gave her a confused look "You're not weirded out?" She shrugged, "I was indoctrinated into a murder cult by a digital copy of the creator of Fazbear Entertainment. You falling for an animatronic sounds less weird, to be honest." Yeah, she had a fair point.

I peaked through Bonnie's window, the idea was to get everyone else before Freddy so I'd feel less awkward. But when I looked inside, I saw all of the animatronics hanging out in Bonnie's room. I knocked on the glass and awkwardly waved to them all when they turned to look at me. "Superstar?" I heard Bonnie's muffled voice before he stood up and headed towards the door, I made my way over and it opened just in time. "What are you doing here?" He asked.
I rubbed my arm nervously and explained what happened "Um... When I asked Freddy if he wanted to watch a movie, he assumed that all of you would be coming too. Soooo, yeah..."
Bonnie face-palmed and sighed, "Oh Freddy... Come in superstar, let's talk about what happened."
As soon as I walked in, Monty spoke "I told you to be direct." I frantically gestured to myself and responded, "What could possibly be more direct than asking him to watch a movie with me?" Foxy cleared his throat, "My advice? I told ya that flirting is the best way ta get yer intentions across." That made Bonnie scoff, "Obviously, that's way too embarrassing for them."
The whole room devolved into everyone arguing about who gave the best advice, I wasn't even a part of the conversation anymore, it was just the animatronics talking.
With a sigh, I decided to just let them fight about this and leave the room. Coincidentally, when I walked out the door, Freddy was just making his way over. "Wow... uh, hi Y/N!" He exclaimed. I flashed him a small smile, "Hi Freddy. If you're looking for the others, they're kind of busy right now." I motioned to the door behind me, everyone's yelling could be faintly heard. "I see, then should we wait for them?"
I looked back at the door then to Freddy, debating on what to do with the opportunity presented. I nervously smiled at him, "Actually, I could eat right now. Do you wanna have dinner while they're... busy?" I felt my worries disappear when his ears started happily twitching "'I'd be happy to have dinner with you!"

Which brings us to now, the two of us sitting on the catwalk above Fazerblast eating pizza together. "Why exactly did you bring us to eat up here?" Freddy asked. I shrugged and grabbed a slice from the box "I wanted a view while we ate." He chuckled at my reasoning, "The rooftop has a view too." I groaned, "This was the first place that came to mind, ok?"
His laughter subsided and he looked down at his paw with regret "Is it because of...?" He then pointed to his own cheek. I understood what he was trying to say and quickly said, "Oh, no, no Freddy. I actually haven't been thinking at all about that night. Well kind of... it pops into my mind when I get reminded about something I saw then." He looked at me with with mix of sadness and curiosity "Like what?"
I bit my lip and wondered if I should tell him the truth. I think I would hurt him more of I didn't... With a sigh I told him, "Like when I see you genuinely mad." His ears lowered and it broke my heart, I put a hand on his paw as a way to comfort him. With a sympathetic smile, I said, "I'm not afraid you, if that's what you're worried about. Not when you're yourself, at least." Freddy eventually smiled back, "Thank you, dear."
I looked into his eyes then down at our hands touching, then back up to him. It's the perfect moment, Y/N. Do it now! With a deep breath to calm myself, I intertwined my fingers in his "Freddy I..." I looked up from our hands to look into his big blue eyes "I like you... a lot! I mean, I've been trying to ask you out at all day," I nervously chuckled.
"I guess what I'm trying to say is-" I didn't get to finish when I felt a pair of warm metallic lips pressing against mine. Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap! Before I could move, he quickly pulled away "I'm sorry! I knew I should have asked, but I thought that you were going to say that you felt the same way as me. But then you didn't kiss back and-!"
I placed a hand on his cheek and shushed him with a giddy smile, "I love you Freddy, but please stop talking." He let out a relieved laugh and leaned into my touch "Can I kiss you again?" "Please do."
