I have been working at the Mega Pizzaplex for almost a month now, and at this point, I know that I don't need to stay in the Pizzaplex all day. I can stay home and watch TV until I'm needed, the house wasn't too far from the building after all. So there I was, laying on the couch bored as I clicked through different channels quickly, no shows grabbing my attention.

"SpongeBob-"
"Now we cook the chicken-"
"Why don't you love me Alejandro-"
"Fazbear Entertainment has-"
"Welcome back to, The Immortal and The Restless-"

From hearing the company's name, I quickly went back. It was a news segment.

"Thing are really turning around now, huh? What exactly caused this decision?" The reporter asked. I didn't recognize who they were interviewing, probably someone higher up "Well, Fazbear Entertainment has always been about the children. So of course, nothing would make us happier than seeing pure joy on some poor little orphans" Say what now? The guy pulled someone just out of camera view into a side hug, it was Scott "And I'm sure the manager of our very own Mega Pizzaplex will do everything in his power to make sure that those kids have the time of their lives!" Scott just awkwardly nodded with a smile and waved to the camera.

"Five fortunate little kids from the local orphanage get to experience the wonder of Freddy Fazbear! And that sure beats the joy and love of a parent!" Someone's gonna get fired for that one... The buzzing of my phone caught my attention and I didn't listen to the rest of the news, the group chat that I had with Vincent, Johnny, Casey, and Laura was blowing up. They probably saw the news too.

'Seriously? That's a pretty low attempt at publicity'

'Scott is definitely gonna have everyone working twice as hard'

'Five kids are all just gonna flock there all in one day?'

'I heard that they'll be accompanied by someone working in the orphanage'

It's a big time for the Mega Pizzaplex, which means that Foxy's return is definitely getting pushed back... My Fazwatch started to beep, a message from the man himself. 'The higher-ups are rushing the Foxy comeback since the orphans thing will rake in more customers. They prepared the casing already, but you still need to put him all together and make sure he's in working order by next week'

What the fuck Scott...

'I'm bringing it in today so you can get started quick, look for Foxy in the warehouse'

WHAT THE FUCK SCOTT

With a groan, I turned the T.V. off and rushed back to the Pizzaplex. I didn't even know my way around the warehouse and if they wanted Foxy 100% ready with no bugs and totally safe by next week, I needed to find him ASAP.

"Scott has been putting off bringing Foxy back for weeks, and now they're asking us to have him ready in a WEEK? A highly advanced animatronic, ready to perform for families within 7 days. What is wrong with them!?"

The whole drive to the Mega Pizzaplex was just that, me ranting about how Fazbear Entertainment was full of dumb idiots that don't even know how dangerous and stupid their decisions were.

I got to the Pizzaplex and made my way down to the utility tunnels, maybe I could use the map to find my way around. The whole journey there, I saw random endoskeletons standing around the place. Not a very organized or safe way of keeping them. Scott said that Foxy was put in the security room of the warehouse, he should be sitting down against the wall where the computer screens were facing. Creepiness of that security room aside, I found Foxy with no problem. Now, I just needed to bring it over to Parts and Service.

Slow and steady may have won the race, but it certainly did not win the popularity contest. I pulled that thing all the way to Parts and Service, an un-moving, robot skeleton with its power off is not easy to bring. Once I reached the room with Foxy, I noticed his casing was already there. A sticky note was on his head 'Don't worry, the next two weeks you won't have to work since we'll be renovating the place to make Pirate's Cove!' I crumpled up the paper. If we weren't even gonna be open next week, why am I being rushed to finish by then?! I sighed and looked over at the endoskeleton "Alright, let's do this buddy"

First thing I did was give him the same upgrade I gave everyone else, I prepared extra after all because I planned on giving him one as well. Putting on the casing was a much more time consuming task, especially when I also had to take care of the others. But all the little maintenance jobs that I had to do on them, did mean that they found out about Foxy. Everyone knew who he was of course, I'm sure they know about the old restaurants. But they weren't exactly friends of his, not yet at least.

It was the next day now, diagnostics of the others were all done, Foxy was put together. The only thing left to do was make sure he was fit as a fiddle. Freddy offered to stay and help but I told him no, he's the leader of the band and the face of the company, he's already busy enough.

That left me and the pirate fox alone with each other. With a deep breath, I powered him on. It took a few minutes for him to start up but eventually his glowing eyes dimmed into their normal yellow, he blinked once, twice, three times. "Foxy?"

He looked down at me and I felt myself shrink from the intensity of his gaze, he scanned me and there was a second of silence before "I've never seen you around before"

I let out a breath that I didn't realize I was holding "I'm new actually, my name's Y/N" I held a hand out for him to shake, he took it and gave a strong shake "I be Foxy, the pirate fox!" I smiled brightly "Great to officially meet you, Foxy. But, now we gotta do some work and make sure you're all good"
