Let's Dance

Its been around 5 days since I gave the animatronics that surprise upgrade. Chica was especially loving it, most of the time she comes to see me now is so I can empty out her 'stomach'. Whenever I do, she always talks about how she wished she could return the favor and I always tell her that she doesn't need to. It was a gift for them after all, and she eventually let it go once I told her that.

Or that's what I thought at least.

A couple days later, during her morning examination Chica asked me to stay tonight. She wouldn't tell my why and I was curious so I did stay until after hours.

So there I was, waiting outside of her room in Rockstar Row. I heard footsteps approaching but they weren't the heavy metal thuds of an animatronic. Before I even made eye contact I said, "Good evening, Ness."

"You know, for a technician you stay overnight a lot. Having secret rendezvous with one of the bots here?" Vanessa teased. My cheeks went pink and I rolled my eyes "How would that even work?" Wrong thing to say because she grinned and leaned closer "Ah, so you've thought of it?"

My cheeks heated up more and squeaked out, "S-Shouldn't you be doing your job right now?" Vanessa just giggled and waved goodbye as she left the room.

Eventually, Chica came out and with the rest of the band led the way to whatever she had planned. Which was apparently, on the 3rd floor. I never really visited the 3rd floor of the Pizzaplex, never had a reason to.

Once we got there I saw the most amazing thing, a giant bot asleep at the front of a disco dance floor. "Oh, DJ Music Man!" Chica sang as she made her way over. Muusic Maaaan

The DJ woke up and smiled down at her, I stared at him as the whole gang made their way onto the dance floor. Smoke and lights turned on, and the dance floor started to change colors. I guess I didn't hear what Chica requested because I was too amazed by the giant spider-like robot. "Come on you two!" Roxy yelled. Only now did I realize that Freddy was standing next to me the whole time, I looked up at him "Don't like dancing?" He shook his head, "Quite the opposite, actually. Whenever I step onto the dance floor, I can't stop myself. It's a programming bug that they never bothered to fix."

I smiled wider "Oh, now you HAVE to join!" I grabbed ahold of Freddy's hand and pulled him along with me to the dance floor, only for him to stop on the step right before it. I tried my hardest to pull him "Come oooon! You can't just tell me that and then NOT show me!" No matter how hard I pulled, he didn't budge. "I'm not joining in," he said with a firm but not at all serious tone. I sighed and dropped his hand, but then an idea popped into my head. I smirked at him "Fine. In that case then..." I turned around and looked up at Music Man "Oh, DJ? Would you happen to know any... mature songs?"

I looked over at Freddy, who leered at me "You wouldn't..." With a mischievous grin I turned to DJ Music Man "Hit it!"

Right out the gate, the music started and the first lyrics were already obscene. The others cheered while Freddy looked mad. Roxanne put her arm around me and said, "Who knew that little old you would have a dark side!" Chica joined her and wrapped her arm around Roxy, I was basically sandwiched between the two "Come on Freddy,  join in!"

He shook his head 'no', like a stubborn kid. "Your move, Fazbear! Otherwise, this song is gonna keep playing," I shouted to him. He crossed his arms.

"Well, if we're requesting some real songs now..." Monty started. I looked over at the gator curiosly, he asked Music Man to lean down and he whispered something to him.

That seemed to scare Freddy because he almost stepped onto the dance floor. Squidward's nose faded out and slowly Monty's song started, it had a lot of bass and definitely sounded like a song that would play inside of a club. Honestly, it was kind of a bop and I wanted to dance to it. "Damn, how do you guys know these songs?" Bonnie who was next to me answered as he pointed to his head, "Oh, we have access to the internet."

I stood on the step before the dance floor, watching everyone else as they moved to the beat. I didn't really care about the song choice. Between the music and embarrassing myself, I choose to save face. But everyone else was having fun on the dance floor! Chica and Roxy were dancing together, Monty was tearing it up and Y/N was even letting loose.

They moved their hips along to the beat, not really paying attention to their surroundings and bumping right into Bonnie. He caught them, putting his hands on their waist so they wouldn't fall over "You alright, superstar?"

Y/N let out a laugh, "Yeah, I'm good. You always seem to catch me slipping up, huh Bonnie?" He let go of them and two continued to dance, this time together "Rabbit's luck?" The two laughed "Or human's clumsiness," Y/N said with a smile.

I didn't even feel myself walking, just all of a sudden I was next to Y/N and Bonnie on the dancefloor. I tapped Y/N's shoulder and stepped between the two of them "Mind if I cut in?" Y/N gasped and hopped excitedly "You finally joined us!" They grabbed me by the arm and pulled me away, probably so we wouldn't bump into other any of the others.

The last thing I saw of Bonnie was him with narrowed eyes and a big smile, a sign that I would later get teased about what just happened.

Whatever song Monty requested already ended and now we were just dancing to basic club music, I guess *not* playing crude music was the way the get Freddy to join the dance floor. "Why were you so against joining us dancing? You have some good moves!" He looked embarrassed "Last time, I ended up making a mess. I think I broke one or two S.T.A.F.F. bots" I let out a laugh at the thought of this sweet old bear causing chaos "Since then they turned down the intensity, but I haven't stepped onto the dancefloor ever since."

I gently bumped him with a smile "Well don't worry, you're looking great now!" That seemed to cheer him up, he smiled back and danced with more energy. I'm so glad that Chica 'repaid' my gift by taking us here.
