Bonnie and I decided to start our search for Vanessa in the lobby, but the only thing we saw were a bunch of S.T.A.F.F. bots. "Its gonna take a while to find her," I sighed. Bonnie nodded "Yeah, too bad we don't know-" He suddenly stopped talking and his ears started twitching "Wait... do you hear that?" I tried to listen for any weird sound, it took me a while but eventually I heard it too "Crying?"

The two of us tried to follow where the sound was coming from, it was in the gifts shop which was locked up by those old diamond shaped barriers. (Idk what they're called) "How are we gonna get in there?" Bonnie thought out loud. Meanwhile, I tried a different approach. I got as close as I could to the shop and called out, "Whoever's there, you can come out! We promise to help you." Bonnie looked down at me "You think that'll work?" I just shrugged in response.

The crying sound got quiet and there was a moment of silence, until a boy with brown hair slowly walked out. "Wow, it did," I heard Bonnie mumble. I crouched down so I could be at the boy's level "Did you get locked in there by accident?" He shook his head, "I snuck in here to hide..." Bonnie asked, "Hide? From what?"

"That blonde security lady." The kid's answer confused me "If you're lost, why run away from a security guard?" He then exclaimed, "She's the reason I'm stuck here in the first place." Bonnie and I shared a look "I told you she was acting weird."

"Well kid, if you can find a way back out of there, we can take you to the exit-" I hadn't even finished speaking when the barrier started to raise, the boy had pressed a button next to it. "Oh. Uh, nice work."

It was a short walk to the exit but still, I wanted the kid to feel safe. So I walked with him, using my badge to let him go through the turnstiles. "You be safe out there, ok kid?" I patted his shoulder gently. "Gregory," he said. "My name's Gregory." I smiled down at him and introduced myself, "I'm Y/N and that's Bonnie." I pointed to the bunny behind me, who just waved. "Be careful on your way home now." I said one last time before he walked out the door.

"Good thing we found him before the doors closed," Bonnie said. I nodded in agreement, but then I remembered what Gregory said earlier. Why on earth would Vanessa bring him in here? "Let's hurry up and find her," I said to Bonnie as I made my way to the daycare. "So, we're just gonna go through every area until we find Vanessa?" I stopped in my tracks and looked over at him "Well, do you have any other suggestions?"

"How about going to the main security office and then if she's not there, finding her on the cameras?" Bonnie put his hand on his hips as he spoke. "That's actually a good plan."

We got to the main security office, it was a large room that was wall to wall with screens showing camera footage around the Mega Pizzaplex. "Wow... I never realized just how many cameras were in this building," I said as I looked at all the screens. "Come on, let's start looking," Bonnie called as he went to a large table with lots of buttons and knobs, probably used to control the cameras.

The two of us looked through the screens for any sign of Vanessa, it took a while but eventually my eyes landed on her. "Look, there she is!" I pointed to the screen that showed her looking around the prize counter in the Superstar-cade. "Good work,  let's hurry over there!" Bonnie exclaimed before pulling me out the door with him. "Woah!"

We tried to get to the Superstar-cade quickly before Vanessa could leave the prize counter, but it was quite far and getting dragged by Bonnie the whole time isn't exactly the fastest way to travel. When we made it to the entrance, I stopped Bonnie before he could enter "Wait. If Vanessa had anything to do with you getting broken, then it'd be best if you stayed hidden from her." Bonnie countered with, "What if she hurts you?"

"Then I'll call you for help. At least then she would be caught off guard." He seemed to think for a little before nodding "Fine. But I'll still stay close by." With that, the two of us split and made our way to the prize counter.

As I got closer, I could hear the sound of Vanessa's voice calling, "Little boy? Come on out!" So she really did have something to do with Gregory hiding away! But why would she be looking for some random kid? I pushed those questions aside for now, because an idea suddenly came to me. Making sure that I was hidden away from sight, I cleared my throat and did my best impression of a little kid, "Hello?"

I heard a gasp and then the sound of hurried footsteps getting closer to where I am. "Kid? Where are you?" Just a little closer and I could sneak up on her. Vanessa's footsteps got louder and louder as she walked past where I was hidden away. I cleared my throat and stood up from where I was hiding, "Who ya looking for, Vanessa?"

Under normal circumstances, I would have laughed at her surprised reaction. "Y/N? What are you still doing here?" I shrugged "I guess I just lost track of time... Got so caught up on repairing Bonnie." I looked in her eyes for any sort of reaction, her brows were furrowed at first before she frowned sadly. "Yeah, I heard... Such a shame what happened."

"You must have some idea of what exactly happened, you being the night guard and all," I said with a tilt of my head. "What are you implying Y/N..."
