Chapter 1:
"Really Mom?" I hurriedly gasped as my soft hand flew to my shock affected face. "Really sweetie, sorry for the lateness of it all, but I thought you should know." My mother Cassi explained in her sweet gentle don't-worry-everything-will-be-fine voice. Hi, my name is Abella Rose Gipply and around here in good ole Idaho Falls, Idaho things are not always sunny and enlightening, but more cloudy for most days and snowy all the rest. I have just found out that I had to go to my brand new school tomorrow, instead of being home-schooled like usual. My crazy family is me my mom Cassi, my dad Connor, and my two older and younger sisters Emmaline and Rosy. I am 14 and with dark brown hair and bright green understanding eyes I can see through most people. We live in a great big house that we just bought, the perks of having a doctor dad, with a bright vegetated garden and perfectly trimmed ferns in many different designs, out front. My mom is a gentle woman of many years, but with the softest, darkest, most comforting eyes that anyone would get lost in, I didn't mind. My father was barely ever home and I treasured my breif moments with him, but I knew him enough to know to be proud of him, whatever he did. Now, my sisters.... they were another story. Emmaline being the older, you would think she would be over herself, but no. She at the age of 16 was the most spoiled bratest girl in the history of the world and more. Sometimes I would get along great with her, but then she would bounce back, almost like a bouncy-ball on a hard wood floor. My little sister Rosy was only 4 and my favorite by far, she had deep get-lost-in blue and green eyes. She was also the cutest with her bouncy lucious brown curly hair that sprung up everytime she walked. Oh and we had a cute little lab puppy, who by far, liked me the best.
"But Mom!" I hastly started to protest. "No buts sweetie, me and father have talked it over and decided it was time for you to get some real friends." She replied comfortingly. "Anne was-" I started matter-of-factly, but was rudely intrupted. "Our next-door-neighbor that you never would've played with unless I made you." She boasted. Well dang it, she had me there. I sulked down on our hard wood floor, on the verge of hyperventilating and tears. "It'll all be okay sweetie, just wait until tomorrow." She said smiling like she knew she had me. "Whats tomorrow?" I said slowly, scared just a little bit. "Your tour of the school and clothes shopping time!" She exploded, clearly hoping the clothes shopping would make up for the tour while school was still going. Well, you can see how much I liked clothes by the way I dressed, all designer no flukes. "Fine." I grumbled, not going to let her see the nervousness inside.
XOXOXO- Carly
How did you like it?
