Chapter 2:

I groggily awoke, an early morning person in the heart. My bright new room full of tie-dyed colors, just like me not really focused on one entire thing, had me smiling softly to myself in just seconds. I streched, giving sight to the beautiful chandler, very diamond and fragile like. I could hear noise coming from downstairs, but shut it out and roamed my still-emtpy room. I would have to unpack one of these days, I sliently vowed to myself, knowing I wouldn't do it if I didn't. I did have my favorite fluffy blanket on my bed along with my ....dog? Oh dog....yea. Did I mention I was a bit slow when I woke up? Tulip abruptly woke up and started to whine, just something she does in the morning. Her soft well groomed golden fur was shining with the little sun that was just barely coming through my big picture window. It took up the whole side and seeing that I was the only one of my family that came to see the house when we first bought it, I had first pick. The light blue drapes that covered it at night were slightly ajar, I went to fix them, but just decieded to open them up. The backyard was facing me and the large swimming pool, that we only got to use in summer, glistened like tiny needles through the whole surface. Many flowers were planted around the outline of the pool and you could almost smell the sweet intoxicating scent. I stopped looking to go downstairs and see who was up, even though conciously I already knew. "Mom," I muttered, still sleepily. "What are you doing?" I asked but stopped when I realized what she was doing. "Hahahahahahahahaha*gasp*Hahahahahahahaha!" There my mom was, standing in the kitchen, face blazing red. One hand up in the air while the other was to her side, stopped midair in the middle of her dance. Some song I didn't recognize was playing quietly on the radio. Although, it didn't matter what I thought because obviously my mom loved this song. She regained herself in the next minute and glared at me playfully, not really mad. "Sorry honey I was just...." She paused seeing me trying to hide in the hysterical laughter. "What?" She asked innocently. "You were just freaking out and dancing to a song from way back whenever that song was made, probally bringing back memories from whenever you were young." I supplied helpfully. "Yea, that." She said sarcastically. She smiled letting me know that she wasn't mad at me still. "Will you go and wake up Em and Rose for me?" She said, probally eager to be off the subject. "Sure!" I said as normally as I could, smiling my million dollar smile with full white teeth. "Wait a minute." I turned around slowly as she continued. "This envolves no water, no juice, no liqiud of any kind actually, no bouncing on top of the bed, or taking the covers off their beds, no-" "Yea, yea, I promise." I interrupted knowing full well she could go on for hours, she had learned her lesson of not sending me up until she made me promise not to do any of this stuff. She knew me to well.
