Chapter 18: anything for you

That was the sound of the doorbell which meant that Marcel was here and I still hadn't put on my dress.

"Mom he's here and I'm not dressed yet!" I said freaking out.

"I'll get the door. You stay here and dress up. I'll ask Kendal to talk to him for a while." Mom said rushing down the stairs.

"Okay." I mumbled and went to get my dress. It was really a beautiful dress and when I wore it, it fit perfectly on me. I ran to my closet and got my black sparkly heels and my lavender clutch. I looked at a mirror and examined myself. The outfit was good but it seems like there was something missing. My mom put my hair in a low side chignon hairstyle and made my makeup look close to natural. Except for the dark eyeshadow and red lips. I was biting my lip nervously when my mom burst through the door. When she saw me she let out a gasp.

"You look amazing Rose!" She said giving me a hug.

"Thanks mom but it's like there's something missing." I said and my mom looked at me and nodded and went other room. What was that all about? She came back with a maroon velvet box and opened it. Inside I saw the most adorable black diamond earrings and necklace.

"Mom it's beautiful." I said as she put it on me.

"Now go and have the time of your life with a Marcel." She said giving me a kiss on the cheek. I left my room and when a I reached the stairs I looked down. At the living room, I saw Kendal and Marcel laughing about something. I cleared my throat and walked down the stairs. When I reached the last step, I looked at their expression. Kendal was grinning and Marcel looked shock. His jaw was slightly agape and his eyes were wide. I gave him a dazzling smile and a kendall cleared her throat.

"I must get going now." She said and went up to her room.

"You look beautiful Georgia." Marcel said his lips brushing over my ear which sent tiny little butterflies into crazy mode in my stomach.

"You don't look too bad Marcel." I said and kissed his cheek. "Thank you for the dress. I absolutely love it."

"It's fine. Gemma helped me pick." He said.

"Remind me to thank her too later." I said and he nodded and we both went out. We got in his car and then drove away from my house.

"Where do you plan to take me?" I asked him.

"It's a surprise." He said smiling at me and I pouted. "Don't do that face Georgia." He said groaning.

"Is it working." I asked.

"Nope." He simply answered and I mumbled incoherent words.

"Come on, we're near. Just suck it up." He said.

"The look on your face when I went down the stairs! it was priceless!" I said laughing and Marcel blushed.

"Well, at least I'm not the one who swam with fishes on the trip to Ocean world." He said smugly. Kendal!

"I was 8 years old!" I exclaimed. You see when we went to Ocean world, I was excited to see the Dolphins there and I ran in the waters not knowing it was the aquarium full of lion fishes.

"Hmm sure Georgia." marcel said teasingly and I stuck out my tongue at him.

"We're here." He said and I was about to peek out e window when I felt a piece of cloth over my eyes.

"Uh Marcel? What's this?" I asked.

"A blindfold Georgia." He said.

"Really?" I said pouting and I heard chuckling and the car door slammed. I'm alone. Great.
