Rain, rain wash away my sin
The thunder's rollin' in
My heart and my mind
Run away freely, I am left behind.
Let the lightning strike me down
Bring out the sun, let it burn me to the ground
Oh wind, blow me away
Whoosh me back to yesterday
Chain me back inside my mind
To a simpler time
Let the horizon split apart
Like my lover's fenced in heart.
