Zelda woke up feeling happier than she could ever remember being, and with a huge smile on her face. Today was the day she was going to be married.

***

Link heard the morning bells going off in the castle, but they didn't matter, Link hadn't slept for a wink. Who could, when they were going to be married to the love of their life. He heard a knock on his door, and opened it to see his best man.

"Sleep well princess?" He said with a smirk.
"Oh stuff a sock in it Liam." After the war, Link and Liam had grown to be great friends, to the point where Link asked him to be his best man.

"I kid, but really, how are you feeling?"
Link smiled, "Like a million bucks."

***

Zelda felt the pleasant warm sun on her face, as she was looking out of the window. Her maid of honor Impa, Aya, and a multitude of maids were frantically moving about the room, dressing her up for the wedding. She could see Jorulph outside, directing the altar to be finalized with the finishing touches. Her heart and mind were racing. She was feeling an amount of emotions she didn't know were humanly possible. She sighed, and started daydreaming about walking down the aisle..... to Link.

***

Link was dressing himself when he heard Liam's voice from outside the door.
"C'mon man! The one thing you do NOT wanna be late for is your wedding, hurry it up!"

As if Link wasn't nervous enough already. Of course he was overjoyed at the thought of marrying Zelda, but yeah, he was nervous as hell. Funnily enough, the courage of Farore supposed to be in him seemed to have gone on an indefinite holiday right about now.
"I AM DOING THE BEST I CAN!" He shouted back.
"WELL DO BETTER!"
Link grumbled in response, "Just wait till you get married."
With that his mind was back at Zelda. The woman he was marrying. He dreaded the moment with nervousness, but it couldn't come fast enough either.

***

The door swung open, out came Link dressed in regal blue, with intricate gold patterns and lining. His long golden hair tied in a ponytail. His sharp blue eyes looking shinier then ever. He looked at everyone waiting out there for him. Liam, Dan, Jorulph, and his adoptive father, King Issac Harkinian of Termina, who was the first to hug him.
"My dear chap! Oh I can not express in words how proud I am!"
King Issac was a big man, with a booming voice and a warm and jolly personality. Even though he was only Link's adoptive father, they were very close, as close as real father and son.
"Dad-" Link said breathlessly, "You're crushing me-"

***

Zelda was finally ready. It had took her close to 4 hours to be ready, but now she was, and just in time. Link's father was waiting outside her room, he had kindly agreed to walk her down the aisle and give her away.

"You look beautiful my dear."
Zelda couldn't help but blush, "Thank you!"
"Oh-ho you have no need to thank me! But we better go, it's almost time."

***

Link was standing at the altar in the castle courtyard, the warm sun beaming down on him, but accompanied by the cool spring wind. His best man Liam, the maid of honor Impa, and the Hylian Minister Kapson, who would be officiating the wedding were standing near him. The people close to them and the nobles from Hyrule and it's surrounding Kingdoms were sitting in the pews. Link didn't see his step-sister, King Issac's daughter, there, which didn't surprise him. She had always hated him, because she felt that she deserved the throne after their father was gone, but Terminian law stated that women couldn't inherit. Link didn't agree with the law, but there was nothing he could do about it.
