"I'll be damned if you're gonna walk around here and threaten to shoot my sister" Vi snapped as she lowered her brows angrily. Cait tensed up as she adjusted the grip on the gun. Your eyes fell onto Vander who was still holding a distraught Jinx. The girls had been through so much, you understood why jinx did what she did. Clearly Cait did not.

"She is dangerous!" Cait spat glancing at vi and then focusing her attention back to Jinx in Vander's arms.
"You either let me turn her in to the council or the hard route is what we're gonna have to do. I'm sorry Vi but I cannot risk the lives of you or Piltover any more." Vi's eyes softened in hurt as she listened to Cait's words.

"What has Piltover ever done for you?" Silco suddenly spoke out breaking the silence. "I understand your parents are there but the council itself, has it ever been a benefit to you?" Cait's eyes fell to the floor as she was in debate. She lowered the gun to her side giving Vi the chance to grab it in which she did. She grabbed the gun from Cait and threw it across the room far from where everyone stood.

"You are defending a place that has done NOTHING for the good of themselves ever in the past 6-7 years. So tell me why they would do something for you? They're not gonna praise you if you bring Jinx in. They'll take credit for it" Silco continued. You could tell every word he spoke hit Caitlyn into her deep thought.

"You have Piltover all wrong" she protested as she glanced as Vi and then Silco and then finished it to make eye contact with you which almost made you break. She was looking at you to back her up, considering you were there for years. But you never had the same experience as her, or the same comforting protecting family she did. Your experience with Piltover was always hell.

"Cait, they're right. If you're not royal blood, you're nobody important. Look how many enforcers that have been lost and not a single civilian knows their names in remembrance. Those were the men and woman who put their life on the line like you." You spoke out as you stepped aside Silco sending him a glance. "The undercity had done more for me than Piltover has ever. All these people here. They're my family. They may not be blood but they've felt more like family than my own blood has ever."

Cait looked like she was beyond conflicted. Tears were building up in her eyes as you saw her body shake lightly. "I'm sorry" she mumbled slightly as she fell to her knees in a sob. "I don't know what's wrong with me, taking Jinx isn't gonna solve anything." Vi fell to her knees beside Cait and pulled her in tight.

"I know cupcake, you've been through a lot lately and it's messing with your head" Vi comforted softly. Vander held Jinx as she had fallen asleep in his arms.

You felt a hand collide with your back gently and you turned your head to Silco who sent you a soft exhale with a small smile.

"I'll take Jinx home you two, I'll take care of her" Vander spoke as he stood up slowly cradling jinx. He turned and began to exit out of the building. Your eyes landed on Vi and Cait.

"You two have somewhere to go?" You asked softly. Vi glanced at Cait in her arms who shook her head vigorously through her sniffles. "Well you are more than welcome to stay with us, I'm very sure Vander and Jinx, once she's cooled down would love to know you're near" you spoke softly. "You know where it is, you two take your time" you spoke as you and Silco passed them to exit through the door.

The trek home was silent, you could tell Silco was beyond exhausted from it all. In all honestly you were just so glad he was safe. You two had ventured to the room where once entered, Silco tossed himself onto the bed with his face staring up at the ceiling. You noticed his slight distraught demeanor.

"Are you okay Silco?"

"Oh I'm fine y/n. I guess I'm just shook over today. I really hurt Jinx. With Vi. In all fairness, y/n. I had no recollection of whether Marcus was gonna take care of her or not. Now that I see how much Vi means to Jinx, I know I was wrong for that." You sat at the edge of the bed listening to Silco talk.

"You really couldn't have known if she was alive or not"

"But there was that option because I made Marcus believe getting rid of Vi was the best outcome. How awful I am?"

"Hey, your head has been so clouded with hatred and betrayal from Vander and the other people around you, that you forced Jinx to feel the same way you didn't go through it alone anymore." You spoke softly as you laid your hand on his shoulder.
"But I don't want you feeling like that anymore because whatever you're going through, I'm here. Always gonna be here" Silco turned his head to face you with a small smile. He brought his hand up to your hand rested on his shoulder and he held it tightly.

"I love you" he spoke ever so softly and slow, the words shocked through your body. You had never EVER heard this man say he loved you yet. This was the first time and of course it probably wasn't the most convenient timing but you were stunned. Your eyes widened and your lips parted slightly as those three words replayed in your head.

"Holy. Shit. You-" you mumbled.

"Don't make me take it back because you're being weird" he huffed.

"NO!" You screeched as you placed both your hands up in surrender. Silco laughed and smiled once more. You leaned forward and planted a kiss on his soft lips which caught him off guard. "You catch some sleep oh dearest old man, I'm going to go check on everyone and talk to Vander. I'll be back to bed in a little. Goodnight" you smiled as you leaned forward once again to plant another kiss on Silco's lips before standing up and heading towards the door.
