Your eyes were wide, your mouth left agape, and your chest was rising rapidly with every quick breath you took. No words could fill your mind while your stare intently fell into a state of visible grief. What little thought you could relay, it was that you were now in a position where if this was a dream, you wanted to wake up.What the hell was happening?
"Stubborn til the end, what a shame." Silco's voice broke the silence filling your head, pulling you back to the reality in front of you. Your eyes averted to Silco who was now walking over to where Vander was, lowering himself to his level, "hello dear brother, look like you've seen a ghost."
"What is wrong with you?!" You screeched, your voice cracking while you flung your hands up quickly, letting them find themselves on the top of your head. Silco rose from his crouched position to turn his body, facing you. His feet parted to approach you but with every step he took towards you, you took one step backwards. Your eyes rising to meet his face, watching his lips quietly part to throw words at you but the sound of clatter pulled both of yours and Silco's attention behind him.
He stepped off to the side just enough for you to see Mylo aiding Vander with Vi and Claggor standing in front of them, with Vander's Iron Fists engulfing Vi's hands and a bat occupying Claggor's grasp.
"What are you doing here?!" You blurted out taking a step closer, now neighboring Silco's side which caused Vi to send you a confused yet stern glare.
"I would've thought you needed help getting Vander free..." Vi spewed, turning to glance at Vander before turning to look back to you, not even sending an acknowledging glance towards Silco.
"Vi dont, you kids need to get out of here." Vander chimed in urgently, his eyes worriedly bouncing between the 3 of the kids.
"Quite the crowd." Silco spoke amused at the current events that were just getting more and more unexpected, "I see why you stuck around."
You snapped your head to look at Silco, whose eyes were already laid on you. They danced your features as if they had missed the sight of you, deprived after so many years. He wanted so badly for you to say something, following the shock that filled your expression. Even something so simple, he just needed to hear your voice directed towards just him.
After years and years of thinking Silco was dead, thinking that life that you were going to live, was alone to now have him right in front of you. A noticeably changed man but it was still him nonetheless.
Right?
This was your best friend, the one that made your childhood days better, made the days worth living with the type of life you had. Growing up even into the older teen years, he was there, they both were. Vander and Silco but that all changed so abruptly, so quickly. Such a tragic event to have had to go through, alone at that.
It felt like minutes but it was only mere moments of eerie silence that filled the atmosphere around you that was quickly instructed by a sudden clunking sound that seemed to get louder and louder. Everyone's eyes quickly faltered to find the source just as it landed in the middle of where you all were.
It started to tick, perceptibly the sound became more frequent with each tick that it released, replicating a timer. Your eyes started to scan the object to see scribbles of color all over the metal ball.
