Pandemic

"Urgk." Athina stared at the last person she wanted to meet during this pandemic with a disgusted face, a gurgling gag sound escaping her mouth. "Ew, it's you."

Akutagawa's eyes twitched. Athina was the last person he wanted to run into during this time. "Ugh, disgusting."

They stood their ground, standing six feet apart as they both warily looked at each other, not wanting to talk or approach the other.

"Vermin, stay the hell away from me," he spat out, glaring and Athina scoffed.

"I should be saying that to you, sickly boi. Who knows who you infected and how long you've been infected for," Athina retorted, rolling her eyes. "You're always coughing and if you cough near me, then I'll be infected by your germs."

"You're the one not wearing a mask. I bet you've been going around the entire city." Akutagawa took a step back. "Stay far away from me. I don't want to be infected by you, of all people."

"Excuse me? You're the one who is infected! You're always coughing up a storm from being sick already!" Athina pointed a finger at him, walking towards him, making him walk back. "I bet that your weak ass immune system caught the Coronavirus! Besides, I'm vaccinated, so I don't need to wear a mask!"

"You, vaccinated? Don't lie, I don't believe you, stay away!" He hissed out, going into a fighting position. This caused the younger girl to tense, also getting into a fighting position. "Stay six feet away from me. I don't want to catch the virus from you as well as your idiocy. I bet you infected Dazai-san and Jenna with both of those viruses. Actually, stay far away from me, don't even let me see you in my sight."

"You eyebrowless asshole! Osamu was already an idiot from the beginning- Hey wait! Are you calling me dumb?! I'll have you know I'm waaaay smarter than you'll ever be. In fact, you're the dumb one. You have a weak immune system and you're always coughing due to your lung problem. Yet here you are on the streets without wearing a mask and coughing. You're just asking to get infected and die! At least your sister has the common decency to wear a mask despite her being all healthy unlike you."

The two stared at each other until Akutagawa let out a quiet cough, making Athina shriek.

"I KNEW IT! YOU'RE INFECTED! I'M CALLING PETA!"

"NO! I'M JUST COUGHING LIKE A NORMAL PERSON YOU FOOL!"

Athina didn't believe him, pulling out a disinfectant spray from one of her many pockets and sprayed him in the face, making his eyes water and cough even more.

"BEGONE THOT!" Athina yelled as Akutagawa tried to swat away the mist to not inhale it and die from poisoning. "Die you infected piece of shit! Go back to the underworld where you came from! You can say hello to my dad for me!"

"You! Cough! Damn! Cough cough! I'm going to- Cough cough! Kill you! Cough! Rasho-cough-moun!"

A black shadow appeared from behind him and charged at Athina. The girl ducked, rolling on the ground away from him as the shadow protectively stood by the coughing teens side. "Tch. To think you would call upon your ability... You coward. Let me disinfect you!"

"Disinfect me?! You were trying to kill me! Cough cough!"

She dismissively waved her hand around. "Kill? Disinfect? Same thing. I don't see a difference when it's you who I'm trying to ki- I mean disinfect."

"You bitch..." His glare was murderous. "I don't care if you're Jenna's sister and Dazai-san's other daughter... You're dead."

"How can you kill me if you'll die from asthma and the virus first?" Athina raised a brow, taunting him as she waved the disinfected spray around.

"I don't have asthma, idiot." Akutagawa scoffed, rubbing his red eyes. "And as if a lowly virus could kill me."

"Puh-lease! You would die if you got infected, sickly boi-" 'Wait he'll die if he gets infected cuz of his weak ass body...' Athina evilly smirked and Akutagawa took a step back. He was tense as he knew she was plotting something. "I can finally get rid of you for good. The other's will thank me when I kill you, die sickly boi!"

Athina charged at him with a mission. Dodging Rashomoun, she grabbed his arm, pulling him toward her. "What the?! Let go of me you-"

"COUGH!"

Akutagawa froze as Athina coughed on him. Seeing the Port Mafia's member state, she backed off, rubbing her hands with sanitizer due to touching his sickly self. He visibly paled as his body turned to stone before the wind blew, making him dust away.

"MWUAHAHA I WIN! Sickly boi is finally gone from this world! We are free!" Athina cheered, running off to tell Dazai the good news that she killed Akutagawa by coughing on him. "Now that dog won't even think about going outside for a while. Who knows, if we're lucky he might actually die for good!"

On the other hand, Akutagawa - who somehow revived himself from the dust after Athina left - shakily stumbled home.

Gin, who saw her brother slam open the door, was about to question him, but before she could, Akutagawa ran into the bathroom, jumping into the shower fully clothed as he let the water rain down upon him.

"That vermin! Not only did she infect me with her germs, but she probably infected me with covid!" He mumbled under his breath, grabbing the bottle of liquid soap and pouring it on him. "I need to get rid of the germs!"

He shook, aggressively washing himself to rid his body of Athina germs. They were dangerous and very fatal according to his knowledge.

"Hey Athina," Jenna said, walking into the living room where Athina and Dazai were chilling on the couch watching a movie.

"Yeah Jenna?" the girl replied, stuffing some popcorn into her mouth.

"Have you seen Akutagawa around?" The older girl asked and both the brunettes on the couch paused, turning away from the movie to look at her with innocent smiles.

"Who knows. I bet he's six feet under right now since he probably got infected by the virus. His sickly body couldn't handle another illness and he decided to pass on into the afterlife. Such a shame, he'll be missed." 'Good riddance to him.'

Dazai hummed. "And if he's not dead he's probably in his hobbit hole to not get infected because we all know that Akutagawa will die if he does catch COVID. Jenna, you shouldn't visit him since we don't want him to get infected now, do we?"

"Yeah I guess so." Jenna nodded, feeling slightly sad that she wouldn't be able to see Akutagawa during this pandemic. "Akutagawa wouldn't want any visitors since he would want to stay protected in quarantine... I hope he's well."

When Jenna walked out of the room, Dazai secretly slipped Athina a load of cash. "Good job keeping the mad dog inside and away from Jenna, Athina."

Athina smirked, stuffing the money into her pocket. "Of course. Good riddance to seeing that eyesore."

Somewhere in the Port Mafia base, Akutagawa coughed. The other Port Mafia members flinched, wary that Akutagawa, their most unimune member might have gotten covid. They didn't want to get infected, so out of survival, they stayed away from the teenager and decided to quarantine.

The Agency didn't have any jobs dealing or interacting with the Port Mafia for a while.
