Halloween

It was fall, the season when the summer days vanished, the temperature dropping, and the leaves of the trees began to fall. Everyone was excited, after all, it was October and that time of year.

Yes, it was time for Halloween - the spooky season.

Because Halloween was quickly approaching, the group of friends(?) - Jenna, Kaityln, Athina, Atsushi, Akutagawa, and Gin were all shopping at Party City for costumes since they were going to do a group costume together when they hung out on the fun day.

Why? Well, Athina had unexpectedly declared that they were all going to go trick or treating because she had found out that the others had never done that before. She wanted them to experience that part of their childhood that they had missed out.

"I'm gonna be the scariest thing for halloween. What's the scariest thing you might ask? Akutagawa's ugly mug. I'll scare away all the children with this face. It's perfect!" Athina said proudly, doing jazz hands as she gestured to Akutagawa. "Look at him! Isn't he scarily ugly?!"

Akutagawa who was standing next to her kicked her out of anger in the back of her leg while Kaitlyn was coughing up a lung, wheezing. Jenna tried to calm him down while Gin was also chuckling at the two. Atsushi helped Athina up from the ground.

"Vermin," he hissed out and Athina gave him the middle finger after Atsushi had helped her up.

"Athina stop joking around, we're doing a group costume, remember?" Atsushi reminded her and she lightly hit the bottom of her fist to the palm of her hand.

"Oh yeah. I forgot."

Jenna and Atsushi both sweatdropped.

"For someone whose ability has to do with memories, you sometimes forget easily," Jenna remarked and Athina pouted.

"Hey!"

"What about this?" Gin asked, interrupting as she held up multiple matching costumes.

Kaitlyn gasped. "POWER RANGERS?! YES! I call dibs on yellow!" She grabbed the costume from the girl's hands.

"Dibs on blue!" Athina claimed the color quickly, snatching the costume from Gin.

"I'll take pink," Jenna said, also grabbing hers. "That leaves red, green, and black."

"Black," Akutagawa simply answered and Gin handed him the outfit.

"I'll take red if you don't mind," Atsushi mumbled and Gin nodded, handing Atsushi the costume while she held the green one.

"I guess I'm green then," she remarked, looking at the Power Ranger costume in her hands.

"Huh this is the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers costumes," Athina blurted out, brows raised. "I remember I watched all the versions of the show when I was younger..."

Akutagawa scoffed. "Childish."

"Fuck off sickly boi."

Ding dong.

The door rang and a woman opened the door, holding a bucket of candy.

"Trick or treat!" Six voices said aloud and the woman smiled.

"Ah you kids must be having fun-" She paused, becoming as pale as a ghost when she saw the group of older teenagers dressed as Power Rangers.

"Thanks for the candy!" Athina chirped, grabbing a handful of the sugary sweets from the bucket and stuffing it into her bag. The others copied Athina's actions as they were new to this. With that, they ran off heading to the next house, leaving a traumatized woman.
