Fyodor's Birthday

Nikolai had a dilemma.

He had no idea what to do for his precious Dos-kun's birthday this year! Should he throw a surprise party like last time? Bring him to the zoo? What type of cake and decorations should he have?

What should he give him as a present? Dazai's head?

Humming, he put a hand on his chin, thinking. "Hmm... This is all so difficult this year and I haven't a clue as to why."

"What's difficult?"

"Preparing for Dos-kun's birthday," Nikolai answered before blinking, spinning around to see Athina and Sigma.

"Fyodor's birthday?" Athina repeated, surprised.

Sigma's eyes widened. "You're not going to celebrate by setting off bombs are you?" He shivered, remembering Nikolai did that for his birthday.

It took Sigma months to trust candles again.

"No no no!" Nikolai dramatically fell to the floor. "I don't know what to do for Dos-kun's birthday this year and I only have two days to prepare!"

Athina paused. "Wait... two days... His birthday is on the 11th?!" She gasped. "That's a day before mine!"

"Really?" Nikolai hummed and paused, an idea coming to him. "Athina~ Do you mind doing me a little favor?"

She crossed her arms, raising a brow. "What's in it for me Nikky?"

A toothy smile graced his face. "Two month's worth of convenient, free traveling by the Nikolia Gogle himself?"

"Hrm, you drive a hard bargain. Deal." Athina nodded. "So what's the little favor?"

"Mind distractioning Dos-kun while Sig-kun and I prepare the surprise for our dear friend?"

"Wait what-" Sigma blinked, not wanting to be dragged into this. 'Athina please don't leave me here.'

'Sorry Sigma, but once Nikky makes up his mind there's no stopping him.' Athina winced at his expression, dropping before turning back to the clown. "Sure. I can do that, easy enough."

Nikolai clapped his hands together. "Perfect! On his birthday, make sure to keep him out of the Sky Casino, 'kay?"

"Alright, it should be easy enough."

That was a lie, this was not going to be easy.

Especially since all Fyodor wanted to do was return to the Sky Casino to continue his work.

Fricking heck man, can this man actually relax for once instead of plotting to try to destroy Yokohama again and get his revenge on Dazai?

Sighing, Athina wiped the nonexistent sweat off her forehead as she finally distracted Fyodor who was currently looking at the different books displayed on the shelves.

'I should have taken him to the library in the first place if it was gonna be this easy.'

"Athina," the Russian man called out, making her straighten up and innocently turn to face him.

"Yes?"

"Why have you been so adamant on keeping me away from the Sky Casino," he bluntly asked and lightning struck the girl.

'H-He found out!' "Was I that obvious?"

"Indeed." Fyodor grabbed a book from the shelf. "No matter, I'm assuming it's because Nikolai wants to do a surprise party for me again, correct?"
