Becoming Children Again

"Move it!" Athina shouted, jumping over a bench, landing on her feet like a pro as she continued to run, chasing after the ability user that was wanted by the Special Ability Division. "Kaitlyn go!"

Kaitlyn flew by the girl with quick speed. "On it!" Flying ahead of the girl, she moved to capture the man they were chasing. "Get over here you fool!"

Yes, Kaitlyn and Athina had teamed up to capture a wanted ability user who could revert the age of people. He had been causing problems around Yokohama and an order for his arrest was issued. Whoever caught him first would get his bounty, making it a race between the Port Mafia and Agency.

However, since Athina and Kaitlyn teamed up, they decided to split the prize money, a deal that both groups accepted. So it was their mission to capture the ability user.

"Damn this guy is annoying!" Athina grunted under her breath. "But if he thinks he can outrun me then he's wrong! I run these streets!"

Making a sharp turn into an alleyway, Athina began taking shortcuts while Kaitlyn flew straight after him. Usually she would try to throw heavy items at him, but she got scolded by Mori about how she always causes property damage during missions, so she decided to prove him wrong by not destroying any property.

"Guwah?!" Kaitlyn suddenly shouted as a bright light surrounded her, it was coming out of the man's hand. 'Crap! His ability!'

Kaitlyn fell to the ground with a splat and the man grinned, continuing to run away. When the bright light faded she rubbed her eyes, looking around.

"Huh? Where is this!? Wow those are pretty!" Her eyes sparkled at the sight of the flowers. "I bet daddy would like this! Ooooo! That's a pretty jacket!" She began to wonder off, clueless.

The man ran in a less crowded area and thought he would escape the two, but he was intercepted by Athina who kicked his side, sending him tumbling to the ground.

"Not so fast now," Athina taunted, taking her hands out of her pocket and charging towards him. "You'll be coming with me!"

"Tsk!" He grunted, picking himself up, engaging in hand to hand combat with Athina.

'Where the hell is Kaitlyn?' She thought to herself, avoiding a punch aimed at her face. 'If she could appear about now-'

"Your distraction shall be your downfall!" He shouted and Athina's eyes widened as his hand glowed a bright white and the aura surrounded her.

"Shit-!"

The aura blinded her and the man took this chance to run away. When the bright light cleared, Athina blinked, the sleeves of her clothes being baggy and not fitting her, and everything seemed to be bigger.

"Huh? Where am I?" She asked herself. She stood up, dragging her clothes with her as she started to walk. "Mommy will be mad if I'm out here by myself. I should get home."

"What do you mean Athina and Kaitlyn are missing?!" Kunikida shouted, looking annoyed and pissed off. "Those brats! We sent those two off to catch that ability user and now they're missing?! They better not be fooling around!" He growled. "Knowing those two, they're probably at a cafe relaxing."

"Apparently not," Yosano replied, looking over the document with a grim look. "We lost sight and contact with the two of them three hours ago. They haven't been seen and aren't picking up their phones."

"So they've gone offline, huh?" Dazai hummed, crossing his arms as he leaned back in his chair.

"Do you think they were kidnapped?" Kenji asked and Dazai shook his head.
