LUNATIC
CAMERON SAT on her bed with Allison. She figured if Stiles was taking Scott to get drunk after their breakup, the least she could do was try and comfort Allison in some way. She'd heard all about Scott's feelings on the matter and wanted to hear the other side.
So far, she learned how overprotective Allison's father had been since the incident at the school. Cameron could relate in the sense of her brother being the protective one, their father still out of town for work.
She had also learned that her aunt Kate was the voice of reason when arguments arose between the father and daughter. Allison had told her that Kate would always side with her no matter what, and that she was probably closest with her.
Cameron smiled. "I'm glad you have someone like that."
"Yeah, she's not always in town, but it's always fun when she visits," Allison said. "So what about you? Anything interesting?"
"Nothing comes to mind." Cameron shrugged. "I mean, Stiles and my brother worry enough for me, so I've been trying to stay out of trouble. But that's kind of hard to do when your boyfriend and best friend are just begging for it."
"How is Scott?" Allison asked quietly.
"Do you want the truth?" Cameron asked.
Allison nodded.
"He's been in bed for the past two days. Stiles had to practically drag him out of the house tonight. He's hurting, and he's sorry."
"I just... I can't forgive him that quickly," Allison said.
"And that's okay," Cameron said. "Take your time. Scott will wait for you."
"Thanks, Cam." Allison smiled. "I should head home before my dad gets too worried."
"Let me walk you out."

Cameron took the seat behind Stiles in their chemistry class. Mr. Harris began passing out test booklets to the first row for them to hand back. When Cameron got hers, she wrote her name down, tempted to flip past the cover.
"Mr. McCall, please take a seat."
Cameron looked up to find Scott reluctantly moving away from where he stood in front of Allison to find an empty seat. He took the one in front of Stiles as Mr. Harris began to talk to the whole class.
"You have 45 minutes to complete the test. 25 percent of your grade can be earned right now simply by writing your name on the cover of the blue book. However, as happens every year, one of you will inexplicably fail to put your name on the cover, and I'll be left yet again questioning my decision to ever become a teacher. So let's get the disappointment over with." Mr. Harris picked up a timer, clicking it when he said, "Begin."
Cameron opened her test booklet, taking her time reading the questions. She had only gotten to question five when she heard someone leaving the room.
Everyone looked up to see Scott rush out with his backpack in hand. Mr. Harris called after him while Stiles and Cameron exchanged looks before following their best friend.
"Mr. Stilinski! Miss Ignis!" Mr. Harris called after them, disapproval clear in his tone.
"Scott?" Stiles called out once in the hallway.
Cameron looked to the left to find Scott's backpack just laying in the middle of the hallway. She started walking towards it, Stiles following her.
She picked it up. "Scott?"
