Chapter 19: Challenge

*REALM OF CHAN'S PACK*

Chan's POV:
Argh my head hurts, wait where am I? What just happened? Oh wait Hyunjin, wait what?

"Chan Hyung?" I heard someone call. IN? Wait! Now I remember. Hyunjin used his specialty on us.

I looked around and onky saw the boys and they still looked confused, but where is Yeon, Shinju and Yuri?

"Guys, don't easily trust anything or anyone that pops out. Remember we're in Hyunjin's illusion world" I said.

We all stood up and walked around, when we continued walking we saw a very familiar pathway, so familiar that I can even feel both happiness and sadness, how does Hyunjin know this place?

"Guys! Do you hear what I hear?" Felix asked then we all silenced and tried to listen to what he was trying to point out

"HAHAHAHA! Seungjae hyung you look like a clown!" We heard a voice shout

"Ya! Peniel I entrusted you my beautiful face!" Another voice said

"Hyung did you see my paint- Seungjae hyung why are you? Ya! I worked hard to have enough money for those paint!" Another voice shouted

"Guys where are Chan and the others?" Another voice said

"Chan hyung, I think they're looking for us" Seungmin excitedly said "No this is all an illusion" I tried to remain calm despite my wants to just go to where the voices are from and bond with them again.

"Oh, you guys are there. Come lunch is ready. Innie, Felix, Minho what's with the ears and tail?" we looked at who was talking and saw Eukwang hyung carrying two buckets of water from the river near our house

"Nothing, but Eukwang Hyung you're not mad?" Felix asked while trying to hide his tail

"What? Mad? Why would I get mad at you guys? Now come and follow me so we can eat" Eukwang hyung answered then walked away.

"Guys please stay strong, this is all an illusion" I pleaded to them as they tried to follow Eukwang hyung "But hyung, what if it's not an illusion? Are we really going to let this opportunity to live the past go to waste?" IN said. How I like to believe that this is real Innie, I just can't risk losing this first challenge against Hyunjin.

"Guys! Changbin! What took you so long?" Someone said and when we looked back we saw Wooyoung

"Lovey Dovey?" Changbin asked as his eyes slowly filled with tears

"Ya! What the heck! Yes Lovey Dovey it's me~, is that what you want me to say?" Wooyoung irritatingly asked while waving his arms but Changbin just walked towards him and Hugged him tight, Wooyoung just stood there surprised and confused.

"I missed you" Changbin said as tears fell down his cheeks "You were away for only a few hours but I understand all of you tend to miss me the most" he answered as he hugged Changbin back.

"Oppa! What's taking you all so long we're hungry!" We heard a voice shout and when we looked where it came from and we saw Jae-Rin, not the very young Jae-Rin from when Minhyuk hyung was alive but the present Jae-Rin form, her teenager present self.

"Jae-Rin this is real, right?" Jisung asked "Yes, now come let's eat. I'm starving" she answered.

We were still shocked by what happened so we slowly looked at each other literally hitting each other and before we knew it we were already smiling from ear to ear while following Jae-Rin towards our old house.

We're now in the dining table and as usual they were fighting over the food. It feels great having to spend time with everyone again, especially now that Minhyuk hyung and Wooyoung are back.

"I guess we can still live what we left in the past" Changbin said as he looked at the smiling Wooyoung

"I wish this would never end" I said but then Minhyuk hyung accidentally broke his glass and is holding the back of his neck, we looked closer to what is happening and saw that his neck is slowly turing into scales, the scales then ran towards his arm and soon it covered half of his body.

He stopped twitching and then looked at us, Jae-Rin stood up to check on him but as soon as she touched Minhyuk hyung scales traveled through her body and covered half of her body just like Minhyuk hyung

"What's going on with you two?" Hyunsik hyung asked but they just both looked at all of us and with their super speed they touched everyone but excluding me and my pack.

They all twitched as half of their bodies are slowly turning into scaled and when they looked up, their eyes instead of fox eyes theirs turned into snake eyes. And just as we thought everything was going smoothly, all of them then started attacking us but Seungmin was quick enought to put us all in a bubble.

"Guys, I don't think I can hold on against them for too long, please prepare your powers to attack!" He said as he tried not to let their powers overpower his.

"We need to go full force! Take off your necklace!" IN said as he took his necklace off but his face displayed a confused look when he tried to use his Magnetic power but it didn't work.

"We're still powerless! Jae-Rin didn't just took our shapeshifting to human power but she took our special power!" Felix shouted as he realized their situation

"That can't  be! It's fifteen against seven, their twice our number!" Minho complained.

"Okay wait Jisung use your power and copy Minhyuk hyung, he has the same powers as all of us and he also specializes in destruction, use it to destroy this illusion world" I instructed.

"But he can also copy San's shapeshift power and use it to shapeshift all of us into Minhyuk hyung so that all of us can attack" Changbin suggested.

"Or I can copy Hongjoong so that I can double our number with clones" Jisung also suggested.

"Ya! Be careful with Wooyoung!" Changbin said while getting his shadow power ready.

"Whatever your decisions are, you're too late" we heard Minhyuk hyung speak we looked up to see all of them for the last time before Minhyuk Hyung used his destruction power against us and everything went black.
