Chapter 24: Deprived

I followed where their smell was and found myself in the kitchen and I saw the two foxes who got caught in the building where Ji Ah worked.

"Hyung this is delicious! I wish we didn't teamed up with Imoogi so that we can eat these types of food" One said while shoving food in his mouth.

"We can't do anything anymore since Imoogi's already here. He's very strict but we can't do anything against them since there's no doubt that they'll kill us if we even try to doubt their decisions" the other one answered.

They're deprived of food?

"What are you two doing here?" I asked and they jumped out of surprise.

"Listen can we pause the opponent enemy stuff we're kinda hungry can you please not tell Jae-Rin?" The first one asked.

"San! What the hell are you talking about?!" The other one scolded.

"C'mon hyung, I'm still hungry" the first one reasoned out.

The  three of us just ended up looking at each other, we're dead silent but none of us dared talk about what's going on.

"What's going on and how did the two of you enter?" I asked breaking the silence.

"Why would we tell you when you can tell us on Jae-Rin" the second one answered.

"No one's telling anyone. Now tell me how the hell did you two got it" I asked impatiently.

"How can we say that we can trust you not telling Jae-Rin?" The first one, which I believe is San, asked.

"It's my son's birthday and everyone's having fun. I'm not ruining this special day just because you two got in and ate some food" I hissed.

"Fine, we we're told to sneak in and you know spy on you again but we got hungry and besides we got caught that's why we got to eat" San said before he shoved some food in his mouth.

"Now I don't mean to stick my nose in your plans but haven't you guys eaten? And who caught you?" I asked.

"Because we didn't get the illusion fox before Jae-Rin did, Immogi got mad and deprived us of food. Not eating for a whole 24 hour is hard you know. Especially because we got use of eating together" the second one answered.

Because Jae-Rin got Hyunjin before they did it already pissed Imoogi?

What more if he found out they got caught?

"Okay listen, you can stay and eat I'll even help you hide but in return you shouldn't report anything to Imoogi" I made a deal but "Are you crazy?! He'll kill us before we can even enter our hideout if he knows we came back with no new informations!" San said all frightened up.

"Why would you agree to the missions if you'd just let yourselves get caught?"

"Who wouldn't have thought we'd spy on you while you guys are having a feast!"

"Well the time clearly says dinner it's up to you if you'd choose to either eat or go to missions!"

"We're not used to eating in time when our pack got apart and we didn't even get to eat since Imoogi arrived!"

"Ya! Are you two seriously fighting over food and dinner times?!" Hongjoong irritably asked while cutting of my mini fight with San.

"He started it!- No you started it!- Don't you dare copy me!- I said don't copy me!" San and I said in unison.

I thought nothing would be more disastrous than what already happened until "Here's more foo- Shinju?!" Felix asked looking really surprised.

"What do you mean Shin..(sees me)..ju, hehe hi" Seungmin said while waving.

"You two, come here. Explain" I said with no emotions but with a tone full of authority.

"Miane we were just really saddened by their story about them not being able to eat 3 times a day after our pack broke apart. And we got even more emotional when we found out about Imoogi depriving them from food" Felix explained.

"Seungmin" I said "Miane" he answered.

"I know what you guys are thinking, we can't just let our opponents get near us nor spy on us while eating our food. But I understand their situation so I can set aside our fight but that doesn't mean that you two can do whatever you want. Seungmin, I didn't expect you could do this, and you Felix, you still even have your tail and ears, do you want Jae-Rin to kill you?!" I shouted and the only thing Felix and Seungmin can do were look down.

"Um excuse me but can you please pass us the drinks beside you?" San said.

"You dumbass, we won't agree to his deal so stop eating!" Hongjoong said as he hit San's hand before he could eat again.

"I need Jae-Rin's opinion on this" I said as I attempted to walk away, this is giving me a major headache.

They were about to react when someone talked and this is not just an ordinary someone, it's the someone were trying to hide what's happening from.

"No need" she said. Shoot we're caught.
