Chapter 27: Experience

*JAE-RIN'S PACK*

Yeon's POV:
"Good morning!! Good morning!! Get up!! Get up!!" a small voice shouted repeatedly.

I used my pillow to cover my ears but this voice won't stop shouting, I swear if I'm forced to open my eyes I will kill whoever is shouting.

"All of you wake up!! Master is mad." And with the last phrase as if on cue I woke up, when my eyes has fully adjusted to the light I found out it wasn't just me who got scared of the news, it turned out it was all of us, minus Jae-Rin of course.

We all looked at each other and then to Suho in which we found out was the source of the irritating voice a while ago.

He's all dressed up and ready for school, I looked at Yuri and Shinju but they both just woke up.

"Suho who helped you get ready?" Yuri said as she stood up to hug the child.

"Jae-Rin noona and Miss Ji Ah" he answered.

I looked at the time and I swear I jumped in fear because its already 7:00 AM meaning we're an hour late for training!

"Suho let's go together! I'll just drop you off for school before I go to work" I heard Ji Ah say.

"What do you mean work? No one's going to work! Not even you wifey!" I shouted.

"Says who?" Jae-Rin said as she entered the room.

"No one. Wifey if you want to work okay no problem, keeps safe okay?" I answered, I wouldn't want to go against Jae-Rin but is she for real? She's allowing Ji Ah to work? What if the enemies use her as a target?

"Don't worry Yeon, and since when do you call me wifey?" Ji Ah said while showing me a necklace that looks like a little marble that's really familiar.

"He still has alcohol in his system but is that a fox bead?" I heard Hyunjin ask and Ji Ah nodded.

Wait so it's a fox bead? That's why it's so familiar.

"So that's why Jae-Rin asked me to copy Yeon's fox bead, it's for Miss Ji Ah's safety" Jisung said as he stretched and left the room.

"Wait, so Jisung can not only copy anyone's power but also anything that is from that someone? Even if that someone's a nine tailed fox?" Shinju asked.

"Yep! He can even copy Jae-Rin and Minhyuk hyung's powers" Chan answered as he followed Jisung outside.

Jisung isn't just an ordinary fox with evolved powers, he's a fox to be careful with.

"Ya! Are you all just going to stay there or are you going to stand up before I drag you out of there!" Jae-Rin screamed making all of us quickly run outside.

We're now in the training area half asleep and stretching before we start training.

This morning Jae-Rin said we're gonna focus with weapons and in the afternoon we're going to focus with our powers before we go to Hyunjin's illusion realm.

"Use this" Jae-Rin said as she handed all of us a purple eclipse necklace.

She then instructed Shinju, Yuri, and I to take a paper from the little box she showed us.

I got Jisung, Shinju got Felix, while Yuri got IN. Jae-Rin asked Jisung, Felix, and IN if they'd want a pair but only Felix and IN agreed while Jisung said he doesn't.

Felix chose Changbin and IN chose Seungmin, I wonder what their plan is since this is training and they wouldn't choose them for no reason right? But they wouldn't get really serious with us right since we're still starting, right?

"Okay punishment over" Jae-Rin shouted and those who had fox parts now turned to human.

"Ahhh!! Finally!! Thank you!!" They all shouted.

"Necklace on" Jae-Rin instructed after they all hugged and jumped. We followed her instruction and something felt weird but I can't exactly point it out.

"Positions" She again shouted "Basic attacks for warm-up before we start with weapons" she said then the others kind of stanced I think it means ready, I hope this won't be draining.

*A few moments later*

"I am never wearing this necklace again!" I complained just as I realized its effects.

"Stop whining and start attacking!" Jae-Rin said and I immediately felt Jisung's fist hit my face.

I was wrong, they won't hold back.

"Ya, I might look weak to you but I've worked hard enough just to be looked down during training" He said as I stood up.

"I'm not looking down on anybody, I'm just confused on why they need to control our powers" I answered.

"Remember that Minhyuk hyung's special power is destruction, it means he can destroy anything especially your special power."

Oh yeah that brother of Jae-Rin.

"Come on Yeon, you know the basic attacks don't hesitate to attack." 

"No I don't"

"You really are looking down at me" he said them smiled bitterly.

"I guess I'll have to prove you wrong then" he added then his smile left his face and looked at me seriously.

He came towards me and out of nowhere he flipped me and boy does my back hurt.

He was about to stomp on me but I rolled over before he could, I quickly kneeled and pulled his leg to make him fall but he just kicked me in the face.

"Ya! How did you not fall!" I shouted "If you've kicked my other feet as you pulled my feet then I would have" he said.

I need to end this now. "Jae-Rin how does this end?" I asked.

"First to draw blood or if the other passes out" she simply answered.

Okay, that's a bit brutal and this is getting serious.

"Can I drink water before Jisung and I continue?" I asked and she nodded so I went to the water dispenser to get water.

When I came back to the area Jisung and I were assigned "Miane" Jisung said.

Wait, what? Please don't tell me that's a warning. I looked at Jisung and he kicked me very hard in the stomach before he kicked me in the face.

"Why won't your nose bleed" he irritatedly asked in which I smiled.

"You know, when you enter Hell countless times you will know that there's nothing more worse than that place. I've recently been there again for foolishly killing a shaman and I wanted it to end faster so I faced the bridge to Dosan "Knife mountain" hell. Getting stuck there with a human body and an unknown weather is the worse thing you could face and your punches are far from that experience of mine" I said as I stretched my body and boy did it crack.

If he wants things to get serious then so be it. Besides I've experienced enough enough training from hell.

"You think you're the only one that got there?" He said then looked at me straight in the eye.

He, what? I just pissed one of the most dangerous fox and that fox is in front of me for a spar. Wrong move Yeon.
