Chapter 21: Bullies

Ji Ah's POV:

We are dead silent in the new car this girl beside me bought for Yeon.

She's extra chatty and blooming now, she has smiled at us more after they came back from what they say was their meeting with their opponents.

What happened that night? What did she see?

"You can talk instead of just staring at me, you're creeping me out" Jae-Rin said as she glanced at me

"I'm happy that you look happy" I said while smiling, I didn't want to ruin her mood again

"What happened that night was just another one of our little confrontations. You see this misunderstanding has gone too far that they want to go all out and you know use our specialties against each other" She said answering my first question

"And of course we saw the others, alongside two very predictable foxes" She added as she again glared at me.

Two predictable foxes? Who?

"Minhyuk oppa and Rang" she answered but now while rolling her eyes.

It's a great thing that she's answering my questions though, but wait, how did she just answer the questions in my head?

"For a producer at TVC station, you're dumb" she commented.

"What did you just- Oh yeah your powers" I said while literally face palming myself. Great job Nam Ji Ah you've embarrassed yourself again.

We arrived at Suho's school and since it was still a bit early we decided to go to the nearest Mall to buy some snacks for Suho since after all it's the little boy's Birthday.

I bought some ice cream and some chocolates while Jae-Rin chose to buy toys, I was left waiting for a few minutes outside the mall.

Where is this fox?

"Yeah just wait here, and I'll pick up the car so that it wouldn't be too hard for you" I heard Jae-Rin's voice, and when I looked back I saw tons of toys getting carried by 2 carts. I think she bought everything in the toy store she went!

The poor worker is sweating as he carried two fully loaded carts while also balancing it so that the ones on top won't fall.

Out of nowhere the car parked right in front of us "Thank God" the worker said.

Thankfully the car she bought was a 7-seater car so there was enough room for all the toys she just bought, but now our current problem is where Suho will be seated since all the toys occupied the compartment, very back seat, and the back seat.

As I entered the passenger seat, Jae-Rin and I couldn't help but stare at each other as we tried to think of where we should put Suho.

"So umm, wait, aren't those Yeon and the others?" I asked as I saw all of them walking towards the mall

"Yeah and I have a plan" Jae-Rin answered with a smirk. I hope this plan is connected to our current problem.

"Ya! Why aren't you guys in training!" Jae-Rin shouted as she stopped in fron of Yeon and the others but instead of answering they all just pointed at Shinju.

"Care to explain" I said while raising my eyebrow.

"Uhm, s-since birthdays are g-good for 24 hours I thought maybe I c-could buy some g-gifts for him and look for a place where we c-can have his B-Birthday dinner" he said, the stutters explains his nervousness while talking to Jae-Rin.

This girl can really whip you into shape.

"Okay but can I ask for a favor?" She aasked and they all just nodded in response.

We're now driving towards Suho's school after our short talk with the others. The car's now very spacious since her favor to the others were to rent a taxi and transfer the toys there, She also offered to be the one to choose a place for Suho's Birthday dinner.

When we're about to park we saw Suho getting bullied by 3 older kids, we don't know what's their reason but we are not buying it. Jae-Rin was about to leave the car but I stopped her "Let me" I said and she just looked at me confused but she agreed.

I told her to drive a little far from the scene while I talk to the kids and when I give her the cue (which is when I say "Oh Suho, your noona is back from France and is picking you up with her new car") she is going to drive and stop in front of us while she acts as the noona in my cue.

She has parked a few blocks away from us and everything's set for our plan against the bullies.

I walked near Suho and I overheard one of the bullies say "Oh isn't your Birthday today? Everyone said you had a cool lunch and all but I think that was all just for show! I mean is your so called family now?"

Hearing those words makes me want to beat this bully up

"Yeah you don't have a family and I will bet all of my money that you won't even attend to family day!" The other bully answered

"I have a family" Suho said with gritted teeth. "Oh yeah? Then why can't I see them? Why aren't they here now?" The third  bully answered.

"I don't have to show you my family physically, it's not my fault if you keep on believing the lie about me not having one" Suho calmly answered while looking down. No Suho don't look down, we're here we're your family.

"What were saying isn't a lie little boy. We know about how your mother ran away from your abusive father and when she left, your father had no one else to vent his anger to and that's why always enter school filled with bruises." The third bully answered, I believe he's the leader.

I accelerated my pace so that they wouldn't cross the line.

"And we just found out about your father's disappearance and about how he is already dead. Now after all that I told you, don't think you're the only one stuck believing the lie you always say about having a family?" The third bully added.

Now this boy has crossed the line way too far! I swear if Jae-Rin was the one who heard the words they said I wouldn't be wondering if these bullies would go missing!

"Suho! It's Auntie!" I called while waving my hand trying to get their attention "Auntie!" Suho called as he ran towards me.

"How are you big boy? Oh by the way your eomma, appa, and uncle couldn't come pick you up since their a bit busy at the vet and with Anastasia" I said when he broke free from my hug.

"Appa is back in his work? But is Anastasia okay?" He asked and I nodded in response. The three bullies slowly walked away, but there's no way I will allow them to get out that easily.

"You three! Where do you think you're going?" I asked trying not to sound evil, and out of surprise they all jumped a little and slowly looked at us.

"Now why would you leave? Did my arrival ruin your talk a while ago? I didn't mean to interrupt but it looked like you were trying to cheer my dear Suho up since we , his family, weren't the ones who delivered his special lunch. We were a bit busy but thank goodness you three friends of Suho are here too cheer him up!" I said while I smiled at the three of them.

"Oh that's not that much of a problem maam! I mean, what are friends for?" The third bully said as he smiked at Suho. This kid is a professional liar.

"Thank you so much for being here during Suho's darkest time, but don't worry we're here now! Oh and by the way Suho, remember your Noona Jae-Rin? She just arrived from France and she just told me she wants to pick you up with her brand new-" I was cut off with the sound of a car break.

Sheesh she didn't even let me finish, I glared at Jae-Rin when she rolled the car window down and smiled while taking her glasses off "Bon après-midi!" She said, and she continued to say more French words that I couldn't understand.
