It was the next day and we were all outside at the chateau.
"Look I'm calling it of, alright" John b says
"Calling what of exactly?" I questioned
" Peterkin said if I stay out of the Marsh shell help me with
DCS"
"And you believed her" I asked
"Yes I believed her y/n"
" an actual cop John b, you believed a cop" jj said as he scoffed

"Look all we gotta do is stay out of the Marsh for a couple of days and she'll help me out" John b snapped back
"It doesn't help that your ass is the one that was shooting the gun" John b stated
"You know what I should have done, I should have let topper drown your ass" jj said as he threw a rock
"Sure, because topper was gonna drown me"

"No, he just wanted to go for a swim with you" I said sarcastically
"It sure looked like it" jj told John b
" I mean have you looked at your self in the mirror " jj spoke again.
"Tell me some more, come on" John b said annoyed
" they always win, Don't they man?, kooks versus pogues.

"Yeah your right" I said having his back since it looked like Noone else would.
"It's ok" kie said
"No it's not, they don't want us to go down to the Marsh, that means there's something valuable down there and you know it"
he said pointing at John b

"I know you do, and I understand why you don't wanna go,  your the golden boy, you've got way too much to risk and you, your already rich as fuck anyways so why would you bother and you y/n your the only one that has my back but you and me man, we have nothing to loose, we really don't alright " jj spoke again
"Jj" John b said

"And I know it didn't used to be that way for you-" he was cut off by John b

"Just get out of my way bro" he said as he pushed him

"You've got the key to Cameron's bigboat right?"
"No" John be said knowing where this is going.

"There's scuba gear.we just borrow it and then we go down to the wreck this afternoon and that'swhat's gonna save you, you don't see rich kids going to foster care, do you?"
"That's actually not a horrible idea, but we can't get caught" I said
"You see, she agrees with me" jj said
"Ok fine" John b said

[Fast foward]

We went out to the Marsh after john b got the scuba gear that we needed.
"This is empty. You took empty tanks" kie said while checking the tanks
"Okay this one's a quarter full" she said
"That's enough for one of us " I said
"Love it when a plan comes together" Pope said
"Does anybody know how to dive?" She asked
"Anybody?"

"It's kind of a kook sport" jj stated
"I went diving like twice but I was a little kid, I barely remember anything"
"I read about it" Pope said
"Great, pope read about it so someone's gonna die"
"Look y-you put the thing in your mouth and breath. How hard could it be?" Jj questioned
"Very" I told him
"Yeah, if you come up too fast, nitrogen gets into your blood-"pope started

"And you get the bends" I finished as he was proud that I knew that he gave me a high-five
"Bends like bend over and...-" jj said while bending down and I had to laugh
"The bends kill you " Pope caught him off
"Right" jj said
"I can- I can dive" John b said
"Since uh when?" I asked
"I'll do it, it's fine" he said
"Let me do some calculations real quick"

"So that boat's about 30 feet down" Pope said
"Yeah" I answered
"So it'll take 25 minutes at that depth"
" wich means you need to make your safety stop at about 10 feet, allright? For two minutes"
"Yeah, yeah ten feet, two minutes. Got it"
I then took of my shirt and jumped in the water to put my shirt at the 10 feet mark

JJ's POV
"Yeah. Ten feet, two minutes. Got it" I heard John be say and then I stared at y/n to see her take off her shirt and jump in. God she's gorgeous I couldn't help but think. I snapped back to reality when I heard Pope say " what was that about?"
" I don't know but i liked it, A lot" I said
"Uh so..."
"All righty" Pope said trying to defuse the tension a little
"Yeah. Uh when you Uh when your down there, you look for the cargo hold. You stick this thing inside and twist and pull, okay?" I told John b
"Stick in, twist, pull."
"Yeah"

Y/N's POV
I tied my shirt to the boat and then went swimming back up.
"Hey I tied my T-shirt to the anchor chain about ten feet down, it's where you need to do your safety stop."
" cool" John b answered
"Keep an eye on this. You need to make sure you have enough air to decompress" Pope said
"Okay, how much do I need?"
"Unclear. Breath as little as possible"
"Zen. Think zen, you know?" Jj said while imitating breathing through a mask "Yeah got it"

"Hey if you get caught in the Marsh, we're basically screwed so.... better get a move on" Pope stated
"Copy that"
Kie then went up to John and kissed him on the cheek while me and jj gave each other a shocked look
"Diver down?" John b broke the silence
"Diver down."
John b then went underwater

It felt like he was down there a while and then we saw the cops come up to us
"Fuck"
"Shit"
"Guys that's the police" jj said
" Yeah, no shit Sherlock " I said getting nervous
"Oh you gotta be kidding me"
"Just act frickin' normal" kie said. I then put my arm on jjs shoulder and I noticed that he smirked a little
"Evening officers"

"How you kids doing?, you know the Marsh is closed today" deputy Shoup said

"No. Wow"

"Nah, I had no idea" I said
"I didn't know that"
"Why is it closed?" Pope asked
"Well, we're conducting a search out here. Boat went down"
"Oh really?" I questioned
"Seen anything?"
"No"
"No, no boat's. No"
"Where's your friend you always hanging with?, he here?"
"He's working " kie said
" the other officer that was there was staring at us weirdly
"Noce boat you got here"
"Yeah, hop aboard"
"You wanna check-uh check her out."
"Thank you"

"Uh you got another one of these?"
"Yeah, yeah of course. It's uh... it's in the hold."
"Yeah here we go" jj said as he held up a flootie
"Allright"
"Yeah" I got a little nervous because John b should have been back already and jj could tell because he grabbed my hand and gave it a tight squeeze and gave me a light smiled as i smiled back the deputy went back to his boat and stared at the water for a little bit checking if he can find anything
"All right"
"All right"

" beautiful day isn't it?"
"Yeah, it sure is" I answered
"Let us know if you find anything "
"Will do. Will do"
We all went to the edge of the boat to check where John b was and then he finally came out.
We all sighed of relieve
"There he is" jj said
"Oh God Jesus christ"
"Don't scare us like that" I told John b
"How'd it go down there?"
"Did you find anything?"
Did I find anything?" He questioned himself.

He then pulled out a black dufellbag "yes, there we go. That's my boy" jj said excited
"You okay" kie asked
" Yeah, I ran out of air"
"You scared the shit out of me"
"Yeah the cops were up here" I said
"Yeah, you kinda missed the show, brother "
"Hey you guys, bogey, two o'clock "
"What"

"What do you mean kie?" I questioned. We all looked over to the boat that was going towards us.
"Do you recognize that boat?"
"I've never seen it" kie stated.
Me and jj gave each other a worried look
