"Damn pope, good catch" i said while smiling
"Not bad" kie said while sarah chuckled.
"Hey, pope, pope, there's the wasp nest right up there, okay? Just move slow, all right?" John b told pope
"Got it" he answered.
He started hitting the wood with the crowbar, all the wood was falling all over the place, one almost landing on kie.
"What is that?" Sarah asked while looking up to the wood
"You guys see that?" Jb asked.
The wood started to come of easly.
"Holy shit" i said as we all saw the cross hidden inside the hollow wood.
"It's here" kie said
"Oh my god" sarah said
"You did it buddy" jj whispered to jb, that was speechless.
We all were freaking out and out of nowhere jj ran to me and picked me up, turning us in circles while cheering
"JJ, put me down" i said while laughing with him, once he placed me down he whispered
"I love you"
I was speechless, the jj maybank said that he loves, what the fuck.
"I...love-" i was cut oof by pope dropping the crowbar right in front of me and jj.
He was freaking out because the bees started stinging him
"TAKE IT EASY!" jj yelled.
Pope fell but was able to grab onto the wood with his hands.
"HOLD ON POPE" kie yelled while all of us were looking for cushions so that when he fell it wouldn't hurt.
"WAIT" sarah yelled
"CUSHIONS." Jb yelled
"MOVE THE PEWS!" i yelled
"POPE HOLD ON" jj yelled,
"AHHH I CAN'T HOLD" pope said while a bee stung his hand.
His hand let go of the wood.
We found cushions and we placed them all together on the floor while yelling hysterically.
His other hand let go and he fell right on the cushions.
We all ran over to him
"Pope are you okay?" Kie asked worried.
We all asked if he was okay and jj was checking if he broke any bones.
"You did not tuck and roll, for sure" jj said, i shoved his arm " not the time" i whispered.
We all looked up and saw the cross falling, jj pulled me with him as we all got out of the way.
The cross landed right were pope landed.
"Pope are you okay?" Kie asked
"You good?" JJ asked while pope layed on the ground next to the cross.
"Yeah, I'm good. Just give me, like, one second to, like catch my breathe" he answered
"You did it pope!" John b said.
They all went over to check out the cross while i stayed with pope making sure that he was alright, i heard them all talking in the background while i talked with pope.
"You know, that was really brave of you, I'm proud of you" i told him
"Thank you y/n" he said while giving me a light smile
"Are you sure that your okay?" I asked
"Yeah, don't worry, I'm fine" he answered while getting off the floor, i helped him get up.
"How much do you think she's worth? Like, if we melted her old bones down, dude, I'm talking like high billions-"
John be cut him off
"No!This belongs in a museum"
"What? So no one sees her?" jj asked
"In a museum where everyone sees it." Jb answered
"Are you kidding!-" pope cut off jj by yelling
"HEY! It's my ancestors cross"
"Right, okay. All right, all right. well" jj said
"This is bigger than money, and the world's gotta know the truth. " pope said
"Yes. And if we don't get this shit outta here before limbrey gets here, nobody's gonna know. So saddle up." Jb said
"Its heavy like right here" jj said while we all tried to lift the cross.
"Wait. Hold on. John b, you're gonna pull, all right? Pull down." jj said
"Alright I'm gonna pull down, you guys pull up, one, two, three" jb said and we started to pull up the cross but it was extremely heavy so we were all struggling.
We lifted the cross and started to move it towards the door
(Istg my low iron self could never, i would pass out :,))
"Okay who's not lifting right now" jj asked struggling
"Move foward" kie said
"Okay, guys. I can't. I can't " pope said while slowly dropping the cross and falling back on a bench.
We all yelled for him to hold on to it but he couldn't.
"Damn it, yo! You almost dropped it on my foot!" JJ yelled at sarah
"Cause I'm the only one lifting it!" She yelled back
"Oh you sure-"
"Okay, okay, okay, okay! Listen, we'll make like a sling, like a little-"
"Yeah, yeah, and put it on the tail hitch." JJ cut him off.
"Guys! Guys, guys, I'm not okay. I'm not okay." Pope said catching all of our attention.
His eye looked all big and puffy
"Your eye, it's all puffy" sarah said
"Yo you good? You don't look good bro" jj said, we all started to get worried
"I can't- " pope saod while gasping for air
"He's having an allergic reaction" kie said
"How many times did he get stung?" Sarah asked.
