JJ'S POV

I was beating up conner again.
How could he do this to her, the best person in the world.
The fact that she yelled no and he didn't listen made me even angrier.
I kept beating him up until he was unconscious, almost dead.
I turned quickly to check on y/n and saw her passed out on the floor.
My heart dropped
"Y/n, y/n. Cupcake please wake up" i said while holding her in my arms.
I tear rolled down my eye because of the anger that i had for conner and the thought of losing y/n.
"N/n... come on. I can't lose you" i said as more tears rolled down my face.
"GUYS, JOHN B, KIE, POPE" I yelled loudly.
She finally woke up after a couple of minutes and i felt a little relieved.

Y/N's POV

I woke up again and saw jj crying while holding me in his arms.
"Why are you crying?" I asked softly causing him to look up at me and smash his lips against mine.
I was a little confused but i kissed back.
Once we pulled away he said
"I thought i had lost you" i cupped his face in my hands and said
"Your not getting ride of me just yet loverboy" he hugged me tightly and i hugged back.
"Are you okay?" He asked
"Yeah, it's fine" i said

"No it's not y/n, what he did is fucked up. I should kill him for that" he said angrily
" don't " i tolled him
"Plus i think he got the message " i said while looking at conner's almost dead body on the floor.

Fast Foward

We we're hanging out back at the chateau in front of a cozy fire. me jj sharing a blanket while i had my arms wrapped around him.
With i felt safe and he's always there to protect me.
He's too good for me.
"Hey! Hey! Somebody's here" john b whisper shouted causing us to be silent.
We heard the chickens making noises and got worried.
"You don't think that topper would..." kie said nervously
"Wouldn't put it passt him" JJ said while standing up.

"Do you have your gun?" Kie asked
"Oh now she wants the gun." JJ said annoyed
"Oh, now you don't have the gun?" I asked
"Nom" he answered
"Isn't that your "secret" weapon?" Kie asked
"Shut up" john b whisper shouted.
We started to slowly walk towerds the roosters and john b yelled
"Hey, who's out there?"
"Ypu kooks better not try anything " kie yelled
"Who's there?" JJ yelled
"Come out, come out wherever you are" i yelled.

The blond man that is always with that rich old lady came out of a bush.
"How ya'll doing?" He asked
"It's this piece of shit." Pope said
"You gotta be kidding" JJ said
"The fuck is he doing here" i asked annoyed
"Lovely evening we're having" the man said while still having his hands up in the air.
"Look, i, uh... i don't hold a grudge with any of ya'll, all right? But this can go hard--" he said while putting his hands down and pointing at something in his jacket pockets.

"- or this can go easy. You know what I'm here for. Let me show you a lite demonstration. You see that swing?-" he said while pointing at a swing that JJ was next to.
"- i got the best bow hunters. In the army Rangers with me. Hidden. " the man said with his stupid ass voice.
"Yeah? Mm-hmm." JJ said not believing him.
The man whistled and a arrow flew into the swing, breaking the rope and then hitting the tree.
JJ put me behind him so that i wouldn't get hurt... again.
"Now, they're out there. And they'll stick you just as soon as i say so." He said while stepping closer to pope.

JJ had a metal pole in his hands and started to walk over to the man but then an arrow went flying and landed like 1 centimeter away from his foot.
"We clear?" The man asked
" now I'm not gonna give you a countdown or any bullshit like that. I'm just gonna whistle. The man told pope.
Pope reached into his pocket and pulled out the key slowly and was gonna give it to the man but then said.
"No. This key belongs to my family." The man laughed and said
"I'm losing my patience with you, pope." As he was about to whistle pope handed him the key.

"Did the right thing, kid. Knowing when you don't have a choice is an underappreciated talent. You be safe." He said
"Oh, just shut the fuck u-" i started but then shut up when an arrow flew right next to me, cutting a small strand of my hair.
"You have a good night" the man said while walking away.
"I'm so sick of this shit." Pope said while walking away.
