We got in the car and pulled over at our destination.
"Yo uh so I think I'm gonna do this one by myself..."
Jb said. Me and kie rolled our eyes
"Really?" JJ questioned

" I just don't wanna spook Sarah with the peanut gallery."
"Unbelievable" i whispered as went and layed down on the couch.
"I just don't understand why we're inviting her at all." Kie asked

"Right and I'm not hot" i said sarcastically

" yeah, john b stop lying" i said

" It's just uh like a business meeting..." jj then proceeded to signal sucking on something wich made me and pope laugh.
"Look once we get what we need, we cut her loose, all right?, plus we need a map."
"Promise me nothing's happening between you." Kie said

"Yet" i finished
"Nothing will happen"
" okay, whatever you say Pinocchio "

"We'll just sit here, shile it's lightning" pope said
"Yeah" jb said as he left

JJ's POV
I saw y/n dose of to sleep and i decided not to wake her up because she looked so peaceful. "Kiara, holding onto your grudge is like drinking poison " i said
"Yeah so is you liking y/n but not admitting it"
"Or asking her out" pope cut in
"I don't wanna ruin what we have and you think i don't want to, she's just too good for me" i said

"Who's the liar now?, you two are perfect for each other but you just won't admit it because your afraid that she won't feel the same way" kiara said
"But she does, trust me"pope said
"I-" i got cut off by sarah "yelling somebody help" we ran outside to see jb on the floor unconscious.

Y/N's POV

Jb has been the hospital for a while now but he's better, he has a broken arm but it will probably heal soon. I hope so atleast.

We went to the backyard of

"Look you guys know whose
house this is, right?"
"Oh yeah, no i do"jj answered
"Honestly, i don't really believe the stories of this place." Jb said
"Wich stories did you hear?" JJ asked kie
"The one where she killed her husband with an axe" she answered
"And that she's been holed up ever since." I finished.
"On certain nights, when the moon is full...." she started but then looked at me

"You can see her through the window" i whispered
"No it's not funny 'cause it's all true, i swear to god guys, this is all real. I knew hollis. jeez" jj said kinda scared when he saw a statue of a woman
"Wait you knew Hollis Crain?" Jb asked.
"Yeah, dude" he answered
"Dude, how do you know Hollis Crain?" Pope asked
"She was my babysitter man. She told me all about it, she told me the truth... about her mother and what happened in this house" he answered

"So as a kid she heard all the stories that her mother killed her father, and ...she was murdered and all. Hollis didn't believe it until that night" he spoke again
"What night?" I asked.
He stared at me dead in the eyes and said
"It all came back to her" he then looked around and said
" when Hollis was six years old, she heard her parents arguing downstairs. So she goes downstairs to see her mom washing her hands in a sink...full of blood, her mother just says that she cut her finger. The next morning,  she says her father and her split up. But then, Hollis noticed something. Her mother going into the parlor constantly, in and out and in and out with plastic bags.

Weeks pass, and Hollis decides to use the outhouse. And as she's using it, she looks down, and there in the outhouse is her father's head, looking straight at her."
"God you are so full of shit jj" jb spoke
"Dude, i swear to god man."
"Did she call the police?" Pope asked
"She didn't have time." He answered. I saw the guys keep on walking while i talked with kie.
"So what's up with you and jj, didn't you guys kiss?"
"Yeah, but we don't have time for any of that stuff you know" i said looking down
"Dumbass, you do your just nervous and scared but so is he, just go for it" she advised me

"Fine, I'll talk to him about it" i said finally giving in. We kept walking around.
"Hey come here" jb whispered
" so here's the plan. We need to look for the wheat near the water like it said in denmarks letter."
"Okay, like what kind of water? " pope asked
"Like pond water?" I asked.
JJ chuckled and said
"Bong water?" We all looked at him weirdly while i tried to hold in my laugh.
"No. It- it just said look for water, okay" jb told us

"That's the shittiest secret message ever." Kie said while she kept on walking
"You wanna complain a little more, kie? Nobody said it was gonna be easy." Jb informed us.
"I'll search on the northeast quadrant, you and y/n search the northwest quadrant" pope told us
"The decapitation quadrant " jj said.
Me and jj kept walking around in silence until i spoke again
"Sooo um.. about the other day" i said
"What day?" He asked
" you know when the fight went down, the one with rafe". He started to get nervous

"Yeah, what about it?"
"Well um..." i pulled his arm so that he would stop walking and look at me.
"So about the kiss, i was thinking we should..."- he cut me off
" forget about it?" He asked and i didn't want to seem like i was into him when he wasn't.
"Uh yeah, yeah thats what i wanted to say" i said while looking down
"Okay"
"Okay"

JJ's POV

"So about the kiss, i think we should...-" i cut her off
"Forget about it?" I asked nervous. Please say no i kept thinking to myself.
"Uh yeah that's what i wanted to say" she spoke and my heart broke but i tried to make it seem like it didn't affect me.

Y/N's POV

We kept walking around in silence until we saw jb and pope so we wnet towards them "here we go" jb said while enetring a little hole to the basement. We all walked in after him.
"Down came Mrs. Crain and cut off all our heads, up came the sun and dried up all our blood" jj sang
"Can you stop?" Pope said annoyed.
We looked around but couldn't find anything
"You see any water?" Kie asked. there were mosquitoes everywhere. (😒) "another dead end?" I asked
"There's not even water on the pipes" jj said
"There's no water here" pope said
"Not a dropamino" jj said
"Nada(nothing in Spanish " i told him

"Know why we didn't find it?, bad karma" kiara said wich made me roll my eyes
"Oh go. Here we go again" jb said also annoyed.
"You know we had a good thing going. And then you decided to rope in Barbie, and now the trail's gone dry coincidence?, probably not." she spoke again
"This is exactly why i didn't wanna tell you about sarah"
"Yeah?"
"Yeah"
"what the hells the deal between you guys?" He asked
"Nothing" me and kie answered at the same time.

"Nothing, is it because i kissed you, is that the problem?" He asked
"This bitch" i said as i started to walk over to him until i saw kie slap him
"Oh!"
"Oh shit!"
"Damn girl" i said proudly
"Stop treating me like I'm some girl that's obsessed with you instead of your bestfriend who's actually trying to look out for you" she said
"Did you uh... hit me?" He asked
"Skeeter" she said while holding up hee hand showing the dead bug.
"Skeeter?" He asked

"Yeah you see it?" She asked
" yeah" he said as he slapped her
"Oh hey!" Jj yelled
"Where's your proof ?" she asked. He held up his hand showing the dead skeeter.
Skeeters started to appear everywhere and then pope saw that the floor was unstable. I wasn't paying much attention  until i saw them pulling the floor apart
"What the-" i started until i saw the water we needed
