*Daya's POV*
Mio squinted out the kitchen window. It appeared as if she was looking for her imaginary child that has gone missing. She was eating a banana which made it more intense for some reason.
"Have I told you what happened at the mall?" The girl asked me, twisting around to face me.
"No, it's been two weeks since then, Mio. How could you even remember
it?" I wondered; the girl rarely thinks of the past.Mio shrugged, "A fan came up to us and said we looked cute together. I almost choked on my icee and Calum thought nothing of it. He said we'd look cute together. What does that mean, Day?"
"I think he's hinting that he likes you. You need to flirt back!" I laugh.
"I always flirt! He would never make the first move; he's like all the other guys! They always wait and I have to make the move. Then they wanna do the do in a quick minute. I'm tired of this shit, man!" The girl huffs and throws away the left over peeling.
"I'll talk to him about it, but on another topic: How'd you remember that?"
"I don't know. This banana just made me remember it. Maybe it's my power food!" Mio exclaimed, going for another banana.
"Don't eat too many now," I pointed at her and she scoffed.
I left the kitchen to find Calum and Luke playing the Wii.
"Hey, Cally, I need to talk to you in private," I cleared my throat, hoping Luke doesn't think anything.
"Whatever you need to tell me, you can always say it in front of Lucas!" The boy grinned, patting his buddy on the back.
"Geez, Cal, you make it sound like a break up!" I snort, sitting down across from them.
Luke paused the game and his face went completely serious.
"What's up?" The blonde questioned.
"It's about Mio. We all know you like her, Cal and she's been getting at these hints you've been throwing at her," I made quotations with my fingers as I said hints, "You need to make the first move. Like ask her out."
"She doesn't even like me!" He groans.
"I know she fucking likes you, she just said so! Mi said to make the first move."
Calum nods as a door slams shut.
"What the hell?" Luke stands up, towering over us.
He goes straight to the bathroom and knocks. Calum and I are immediately there.
"What?" Mio growls.
Weird.
I stepped forward, "Mio, it's me. Are you alright?" I touched the doorknob, turning it.
The girl was hunched over the toilet, her face turned away from the group. She had one hand holding her hair. Calum slowly walked into the medium-sized room, as Mio's posture tweaked. The boy grabbed her hair as she lurched up what looked like banana.
"Can someone go get some water?" Calum asks.
I quickly nod, I hated the smell of bananas. I grabbed a glass and sped walked back to the room. Luke was still in the door and was trying to make jokes, but I shushed him politely. Mio was done with throwing up at the moment and Cal handed her the water.
She sipped it graciously and he rubbed her back soothingly. So cute, but so grody!!
"What did you eat?" Luke suddenly inquires.
