"This school sucks" I exclaim as I walk into the cafeteria "it's not that bad" Miguel argues picking up a tray "yea because you already have a crush" I give him a smirk "do not" he quickly shouted "if you say so lover boy" I reply
"Is it cool if we sit here?" Miguel asks the two boys, sitting at an empty table "sorry, tables really blowing up right now. I can put you on the waitlist, but it's probably next semester at the earliest." the boy with the dark hair says sarcastically as I sit down "ok" Miguel replies walking away "Miguel. He's kidding" I say giving him a dumb look "im Demetri" the boy with the dark hair starts "this is Eli, he's a man of few words" he points to the dirty blonde boy next to him "I'm Miguel, and this is isabella, but you can call her bell or Bella," He says picking at his food "no. you cant" I let out "feisty, I like it," Demetri says as I raise an eyebrow.
"Dude don't torture yourself, those are the rich girls," Demetri says to Miguel as two girls walk by one being sam " do you ever talk to them or?" Miguel questioned "oh yea all the time, we hang out after school, make out, give each other handjobs. Eli here is homecoming king gets laid more than anyone. Isn't that right, Eli?"Demetri says in on breathe " talk to them? you realize what table you're sitting at, right? You've pretty much signed away all hopes of losing your virginity before college" He said still looking at Miguel " speak for yourself" I say with a scoff "gross" Miguel lets out with a disgusted look on his face "what?" "Oh shit, Yasmine's looking at us, probably just making fun of me," the dirty blonde says covering his face "I don't think she making fun of you, there's not a reason to," I say giving him a reassuring look as he begins to blush "I don't care if Yasmine's the meanest girl ins school, I would kill all of you just to get her to spit in my face," Demetri says looking serious "if you don't make the first move you'll never have a shot" Miguel replies "true, but ill also never suffer a humiliating rejection. I'm at peace with my depression, the last thing I need to be is suicidal" Demetri says staring at the girls. I let out a laugh noticing the dirty blonde looking at me then quickly looking away
"What are you doing," Demetri asks Miguel as he stands up "striking first" Miguel replies "Miguel no," I say grabbing his arm "I already told you I don't need you fighting my battles" he tugs away "suit yourself" I turn back facing Demetri "this is not gonna end well," I say as Demetri nods in agreement. Miguel attempts to go talk to sam before the boys from earlier interrupted "so how'd it go" Demetri asked Miguel as he sat back down angrily time skip
"MIGUEL" I yell walking into cobra Kia "hey sorry no girls in cobra Kia," a man says "flattered but I'm here for Miguel," I say waving the water bottle in my hand "what are you his girlfriend," the man asks "gross, I'm his sister, twin sister" I answer in disbelief "oh hey, isabella you here to join co-" Miguel began " no girls in cobra kai" the man cuts him off "but sensei we need more students, and isabellas been in karate before" Miguel argued "you have?" the man asked "yea for like a month before i hit Miguel to hard and he cried like a baby and our mom took me out of karate and put me in gymnastics, you know something less violent" I replied "well show me what you got kid" the man demanded "but i th-" "QUIET" the man interrupted "ok" i began taking off my shoes "you two fight" the man shouted "WHAT" miguel yelled "is there a problem diaz" the man asks "not with me" i say before charging at miguel giving him a kick to the side "good kid your in!" the man exclaimed "no i-" "QUIET, you now refer to me as sensei." the man cut me off once again "yes sensei" i say with an unsure voice. time skip
"Hey guys, mm smells good in here," my mom says, walking into the house, "I'm sorry I'm late again, things are crazy at the hospital," she says before kissing me and Miguel on the forehead, "it's ok you're short-staffed, but we saved you some food." Miguel treasures "So have you guys decided what your gonna be for the Halloween dance?" mom asks "I was thinking Deadpool, but the costumes are a little pricey" Miguel replies "well how much is it?" mom asks with a smile, "Well it doesn't have to be Deadpool," Miguel reassures once again, "You want a Deadpool costume? "We'll make you a Deadpool costume" mom answers with a laugh, "haha no this isn't a sweatshop" Yaya adds "what about you Mija?" "My mom asks me "Oh um I'm not going" I answer picking at my food "what no I can't go alone" Miguel argues "you won't be alone, Demetri and Eli will be there, besides I thought you didn't want me fighting your battles for you" I answer "please" Miguel begs "fine, but I'm not wearing a costume" I answer annoyed
