"You maybe wondering what a team does after they win the championship. the answer? victory nachos!" Aisha says to her phone as the team begins to cheer "it was supposed to be a round of drinks but the waitress was not feeling hawks fake ID" Aisha continued "hey don't talk about that my parents follow you" Eli interrupts "sorry Mr. and Mrs. Moskowitz, anyways until next time no mercy bitches" Aisha finishes putting her phone away
"I gotta say it's nice to be at a victory party," Demetri says grabbing a chip "yea except you had nothing to do with the victory." Eli interrupts grabbing the chip from his hand " well then I'll consider it a belated party for the coding competition we won at computer camp." Demetri starts "Demetri and Eli binary brothers," Demetri says, moving his arms as Aisha and moon begin to laugh "hey cool with the nerd shit," Eli says "hey where's Miguel his wings are getting cold?" Moon asks, "I'll find him," I quickly say grabbing the wings and walking away from the table.
"This is no way to celebrate a first-place trophy," I say sitting next to my brother, placing his wings down "El serpiente, there you are." Eli says, walking over to us, "This is how you celebrate a first-place trophy?" Aisha teases "she blocked me," Miguel says " so what happens when you get blocked, you counterpunch? Except don't actually hit her this time," Eli says with a laugh, and I let out a chuckle as Aisha gives us a look "too soon?" Eli questioned "look all I'm saying is don't give up" Eli finishes "it's no use I blew any shot I had with her," Miguel says sounding hurt "well maybe if you didn't threaten her" I added "just give Sam some time she'll come around" Aisha reassures "or she won't you're the champ now. You can get any chick in the valley you want. "You're like Drake, enjoy it," Eli finishes, walking away, "I'm not sure I wanna be drake" Miguel adds "don't worry you're not," I say in a mocking tone.
Time skip
"Alright, so I get my license next week" Eli starts talking to Miguel "wait so you've been driving us around with no license," I ask concerned "you haven't talked to me or answered my calls for three days and this is what makes you talk to me?" Eli questioned "we could've died" I argue as Miguel lets out a chuckle "you're so dramatic" Eli insists "am not" I spit back "looks like we got some new students," Miguel says motioning towards the front doors of the dojo "fresh fish," Eli says hitting Miguel's chest "it's the champs," a boy says pointing towards us "check this out," Eli says walking up to them "don't," Miguel says with a laugh "hey mouth breathers. Move it," Eli says to the boys "sorry about that" one boy says "I'll get the door" the other insists "so you guys wanna be cobra kias, huh?" Eli asks teasingly, flinching at the boys "you got a long road ahead of you." I say walking into the dojo
"What the hell happened here?" Miguel asked, walking into the dojo that was a mess With glass laying on the floor and burn marks on the wall "looks like Sensei threw a party" Aisha said shrugging her shoulders "must've been pretty sick if fire got involved" Eli says looking at the wall " look at how much glass there is" Miguel says pointing to the glass in the floor " I didn't even know sensei had friends" I add "QUITE" Sensei yells coming from the backroom "The dojos closed to new students today" Sensei continues walking up to the new students "we wanted to sign up after we say the tournament" the boy who opened the door explained "do I need to say it again? Get out!" Sensei demanded "yes sir.. uh Sensei, let's go come on," the other boy said, rushing the group out, "Let's go, get out, move it. Come back tomorrow" Sensei said "and bring your checkbooks" he added
"everyone fall in" Sensei demanded "must've been a rager, Sensei," Eli said, "were you celebrating all weekend?" Miguel asked, "celebrating what? My students are a bunch of pussies" Sensei says looking at the class "Miguel, Hawk upfront" he demanded "Hawk did you attack your opponent when his back was turned?" Sensei asked "yes, Sensei" Eli replied unsure "Diaz, did you purposely attack your opponents' injury?" Sensei asked "yes, Sensei" Miguel answered confidently "think that makes you badass?" Sensei asked the both of them "what's the matter to tough a question?" Sensei asked angrily as the boys looked at each other, "Maybe you need some help, Mrs.Robinson!" Sensei went on "yes, Sensei" she answered "two cobras are in the jungle. One kills the strongest lion, the other kills a crippled monkey. which cobra do you want to be?" Sensei asks "the one that kills the cobra Sensei" she answers "and why is that," he asks "because it killed the stronger animal" she continued "Correct!" Sensei shouted
"Cobra Kia is about being badass, and the baddest badass is the one who beats his opponent at his strongest." Sensei starts "not when his back is turned," he says, getting in Eli's face, "not when he's injured" he did it again, now getting in Miguel's face, "Is that understood?" Sensei asked sounding angrier than ever "yes, Sensei" the class replies, "That means no more cheating" he says stepping up to me, "No more fighting dirty. From here on out those are pussy moves, and you don't wanna be pussies, do you?" He asks walking around the class "no Sensei" the class replies "good, that's why I had you wear your white belts. We're starting over. Diaz, Hawk, 50 push-ups on your knuckles, you too Bella" he says walking past me, "This is your fault" I say looking at Miguel getting on my knuckles "how come you didn't get your balls busted like we did?" Eli asks "I don't have balls dumbass" I answer giving him a dumb expression "can you guys shut the hell up" Miguel shouts "fine" me and Eli answer in unison
