Johnny asked "aw, what am I saying you don't have friends.sorry." he finished "hey senses when are we going to learn to do some kicking," Miguel asked " I saw this guy on YouTube kicking boards and It looked badass" I add " yea no shit-kicking is badass. but Miguel isn't ready" he answers " so when can I start kicking boards?" I question " when Miguels ready" Johnny answers I let out a sigh "besides if I don't get more students here, I'm not going to be teaching anything," he says looking at papers, "you thought about advertising right?" I ask " yea of course" Johnny answers "come on Miguel we're gonna be late for school," I say grabbing my bags "bye sense" Miguel and I say in unison
"Cyberbullying is no laughing matter. Sending a cruel message to someone online can be just as hurtful as saying it to their face. I'm not gonna name names, but the other day a mother called me up because her son was crying after some kids online made fun of his facial deformity." the counselor began in the cafeteria as everyone began staring at Eli "But today, our goal here is to make this school a safe space for all students." she finished "you know if you're sick of getting bullied, my karate dojo's looking for recruits." Miguel says turning to Eli "yea, right. You hear that Eli, a little karate training, and you're going to kick some major ass," Demetri says sarcastically.
"I'm Serious, Demetri. My sensei's the real deal. I'm sure I could get you both discounts" Miguel replied " as enticing as that sounds, I think we'd rather spend our afternoons playing Crucible Control than getting hit in the face," Demetri finishes "nerd" I say looking towards him " Oh and one last thing. While we're all looking forward to the Halloween dance, let's make sure our costumes are culturally sensitive. ''For example, instead of 'sexy nurse' maybe try 'gender-neutral employee', the counselor goes on 'are guys going to the dance tonight', Demetri asks 'no', I answer 'what you said you would go" Miguel argues 'yea I said that in front of mom" I reply 'come on it'll be fun',' Eli adds "I'll think about it" I say back quickly looking back down feeling my cheeks heat up time skip
"Hey, sensei you told us to be here at five right?" Miguel asks, standing in front of the dojo " yeah, but today's training canceled." Johnny replies "what?why?" I question "cause I said so" Johnny answers opening the door. me and Miguel to join him. "Sensei there's something I wanna show you" Miguel pulls his computer out of his bag, "look, I'm not in the mood" Johnny continues "but we think you'll like it sense," and I add, "Look, it's a cobra Kia web page, I made it in study hall click on the snake," Miguel says, putting the computer on the desk.
" OK, this is a sign-in page I was thinking we can make an app where you track your progress get a social media campaign going to get it out to the whole school" Miguel rants " The possibilities are endless" I add as Miguel's phone rings " oh that was my mom I'll call her back later," Miguel says searching for his phone " hey was that just-" Johnny starts " rat awesome right I went online and looked up Guns N' Roses I ended up going on a whole 80s rock rabbit hole," Miguel said sounding proud "yea he stayed up all night finding more songs" I add " all right meet me at the high school at midnight don't be late," Johnny said slamming down his beer, "Isabella you don't have to come but I recommend it" he finished "w-what for?" Miguel asks "you wanna learn how to kick ass you got to learn how to kick."
Time skip
" sensei what are we doing here at midnight?" Miguel asked "are we supposed to be here," I ask " yeah don't worry my buddy's a night janitor" Johnny answers " alright let me see your hands" Johnny demands "whoa whoa what are you doing?" Miguel asks confused " when you're in a fight your first instinct is to use your hands well you have to unlearn that" he answers wrapping the rope around Miguel's hands "how do I do that" Miguel questions "well you just uh" sensei started before pushing Miguel in the pool "OMG" I scream in shock " I'm drowning," Miguel says gasping for air as sensei pulls his head out of the water " don't drown drowning is for pussies" sensei continues pushing Miguel's head back underwater " hey kid does your brother know how to swim?" Sensei asked " no sensei "I replied " oh God I can't watch" I saw before turning around " yes that's it keep kicking" I hear sensei yell from behind me " Holy shit he did it" I exclaim
" GOOD ISABELLA GOOD, your up next Diaz," sensei says as I break boards " Man I wish we could show Mom what we did today," Miguel says putting on his shoes " are you kidding she would kill us" I argue " Put your costumes on I'm going to drive you to that dance we're going to pick up more students," sensei says with a determined look on his face I grab my bad and head to the bathroom putting on my costume I borrowed from the store "shit," I say looking down at my costume. It was a Hermione granger costume that was a size too small "you've got to be kidding" I say to myself "come on Isabella" I hear my brother call
""Where'd you get that?" Miguel questions me as I walk out of the bathroom " I borrowed it" I answer " you stole it!" he yelled sounding shocked " borrowed" I corrected " well you sure are gonna attract lots of customers with that" Johnny says " what's that supposed to mean" I ask " whatever let's just go" I say leaving the dojo.
Time skip
" I see you disregarded the no slutty costume rules," Demetri says looking me up and down "it was an accident" I argue " so are you a regular doctor or," Miguel asks " plastic surgeon I fix lips" Eli replied "god this is horrible" I exclaim rolling my eyes " well not for all the guys looking at you" Demetri adds "Shut up before I stab you in the eye" I snap back as Demetri quickly moves back, " I think you look fine Isabella," Eli says with his face turning red "thanks" I reply feeling my face heat up
"Are you guys gonna ask them to dance or not?" I ask the boys "slow down we have time" Miguel says before one of the girls they were eyeing was asked, "I have to go to the bathroom" Eli says "yea me too" Demetri adds "no you guys can't leave me here" I shout "sorry" the boys said, walking off after a couple of minutes I hear the boys come back " finally you guys took forever where is Miguel?" I ask the boys "well Kyler and his gang" Demetri starts "SHIT" I yell pushing past them " MIGUEL, MIGUEL WHERE ARE YOU" I yell racing through the halls "sensei, have you seen mig—" I ask before sensei turns around holding Miguel beaten up badly " oh my god" I say running over to Miguel "moms gonna kill me" I sigh
I'm so excited we're finally getting more into the flirty stuff with Eli and Isabella but the beginning of season one's kind of slow so yeah
