"Are you ready?" Miguel asks "yea you?" I ask, looking to Miguel "let's do this" he says before we begin running out of the back, all of us cheering "cobra Kia" till we get to our place, "Now that's what I call an entrance and a badass name for a dojo!" The announcer shouts "Let's hear it for cobra Kia," the man finishes as the crowd cheers, "and finally fighting unaffiliated from North Hills we have Mr.Robby Keene." The announcer says "alright folks get ready, it's karate time," the announcer says as everyone begins cheering.
first up was Miguel and some boy in a red gi Miguel used the crane kick to defeat his opponent which seemed to upset sam, Then Aisha who went against a boy in a white go the boy threw a couple of punches which Aisha blocked as she then swept him winning the match, next was Eli his opponent knocked him to the ground causing him to grow impatient and elbowing him to the face everyone was cheering for him especially moon, as he tore off his gi flexing. Soon enough it was my turn to fight "you got this Bella" I heard my brother scream a boy approached me in a blue gi "good luck princess" he said with a teasing laugh "don't need it" I say back "face me bow. face each other bow" the referee starts "fight" he shouts the boy throws a few fancy punches which I block throwing some kicks finally sending him to the ground as he angrily looks at me "it was beginner's luck" he said walking off "Isabella Diaz Is our last semi-finalist" the announcer shouts as I look at Robby
" there can only be one true winner and they are standing on the stage right now, will it be Miguel Diaz from cobra Kia karate? Will it be Isabella Diaz from Cobra Kia Karate? Will it be Hawk...well I guess it's just Hawk from cobra Kia karate? Will it be Robby Keene unaffiliated?" The man announces "ok let's begin, Isabella Diaz versus Robby Keene" he finishes "let me have him," Miguel whispers in my ear as I give him an unsure look "I'll think about it," I say, turning away from walking up to Robby "face me bow, face each other bow, fight" the man shouts "what afraid to hit a girl?" I tease throwing a punch at Robby "LESS DEFENSE DIAZ" I hear Sensei yell as I sweep Robby "point Diaz" the referee yells "giving up that easily?" I ask "fight" the referee shouts "FOCUS ROBBY" Mr.LaRusso shouts as Robby throws a punch, missing I go in for a kick as he grabs my leg and drops me.
"Point Keene," the referee says, "fight," the referee shouts as we go back and forth punching and kicking "sorry Keene," I say, before sending him a tornado kick to the face "point Diaz" "fight" the referee shouts once more, "you know I would kick your ass right now, but my brother wants you," I say, sending weak punches to Robby "what?" Robby asks confused blocking my shots, "Come on Keene knock me" I say still sending weak shots, "No fight me for real" Robby says hitting me harder "come on Keene don't you want to make daddy proud?" I ask, referring to Daniel, "No, I won't win unless you actually fight me" Robby begins "fine then I'll make you win" I protest sending punches and kicks left and right until he finally knocks me.
"point Keene, fight" the referee shouts for the last time, "the last point wins make it count," I say with a smirk, I put up a small fight, waiting for Keene to knock me down "why?" I hear Robby ask "what?" I ask confused "why would you risk being the all valley champ?" Keene asks, sending weak shots "he's my brother id do anything for him." I answer out of breath "wow" he answers before sweeping me "winner Keene" the referee shouts "you ok" Robby asks putting his hand out, "good fight Keene" I say grabbing his hand, "Maybe we could actually fight sometime?" He asks "yea, hey do me a favor and beat my brother his ego will get out of hand if he wins," I say letting go of his hand "I'll try" he replies with a chuckle "good luck," I say pulling him into a hug then walking back to Miguel "he's all yours," I say to Miguel "thanks Bella," Miguel says with a smile "the hell was that?" Eli asks "what I lost," I say shrugging "you hugged him, do you just go around hugging random people?" Eli asks concerned "he's a friend from work" I reply with a laugh "of course he is," he says rolling his eyes
I kinda hate all parts of chapter fourteen probably because it's so unnecessarily long but whatever I hope yall enjoy cuz these took forever to write
