"You've trained hard, you've gotten stronger, tougher, faster. You've done your best, you're ready for this tournament am I right?" Sensei asks standing on a truck in a junkyard "yes, Sensei" the class answers "wrong."
Sensei replies throwing his beer can at us: "Your best ain't shit, if you want to win the all valley under 18 tournament, you've got to give me better than your best, which is why from now on you're gonna get my worst. Do you understand?" Sensei continues "yea, Sensei" the class answers "are you losers," Sensei asks "no Sensei" the class yells "are you, nerds," Sensei asks "no Sensei" the class replies "are you sure?" Sensei asks "no Sensei" the class replies as Johnny grunts.
"Move those feet, go, go, go," Sense shouts at us as we all run through tires "Miguel keep moving," I say shoving Miguel causing him to fall on Aisha "your enemies are all around you. Destroy them!" Sense says, giving us all broken pipes "come on princess go move that ass," Sense shouts at Miguel as he crosses a board over various sharp metals "there's nothing to fear except fear itself, that and falling into sharp metal and broken glass, so don't do that!" Sensei shouts to Eli as he crosses "come on Diaz don't be scared" Sensei says to me before I cross, "Please, this is a piece of cake" I say swiftly walking across the board.
"You wanna win? You gotta be hungry. Are you guys hungry?" Sensei asks handing us all a piece of beef jerky "yes, Sensei" we answer "good." Sensei answers pulling a whistle out of his pocket "cause so are they" he says blowing the whistle as big dogs start chasing after us. I quickly run off jumping into a truck as a dog follows "don't be afraid they smell fear" Sensei adds "what the fuck?" I say looking at Johnny as he shrugs his shoulders "AHH" I hear someone scream realizing it's Eli
"You ok?" I ask Eli walking over to him putting my hand out "I'm fine" he answers with a grunt grabbing my hand "I thought you were a Hawk, why didn't you just fly away from the dog?" I ask with a grin on my face as Eli leans on my shoulder using me as support "it's not funny" he answers "mmm kinda" I answer walking him out of the junkyard "you got a ride" he asks "Senseis taking me and Miguel home" I answer "I can take you home" he adds "you need to take yourself to the doctors before you get rabies" I chuckle as he stops leaning on me "see ya later Eli" I say waving my hand to him as I walk away
