"COME ON, loser!" Adelaide called, "We're gonna be late!"

Keegan came down the stairs, her jacket hanging low from her shoulders, "Late to the mall? You're already making us walk."

"Learn how to drive and you won't have to worry about walking."

Adelaide pushed Keegan out of the door and the two of them headed towards the mall.

Once there, Keegan instantly ran towards the store to pick out a new pair of shoes.

Adelaide soon felt hands creeping around her waist and as she grabbed the wrists of the soon to be known, he whispered in her ear.

"You've gotta help Greg and I."

She turned, seeing Rodrick and Greg as he ran towards Keegan.

"What did you two do?"

"No time for questions."

Adelaide and Rodrick hadn't spoken since their almost first kiss and this had been the first time they've spoken since that day.

Adelaide looked over and saw that Greg had pulled Keegan away and out of her sight.

She didn't have much time to think about what was happening when Rodrick pulled her away from the center of the store and into a random, secluded spot.

"What did you two do?" She whispered.

"Look... we just made Coach angry and now... we run."

Rodrick quickly pulled the girl out of the mall and into the parking lot.

Greg and Keegan could only assumed to be inside the mall still trying to get away from Coach.

"Okay, slow down." Adelaide pulled Rodrick to a stop. Her back facing the entrance of the mall, "We need to talk."

Rodrick let out a heavy sigh. He really wanted her to forget the night in its entirety.

There was no doubt in Rodrick's mind that he wanted to kiss Adelaide that night, but to do it over a dare... well that was the whole point of this dare wasn't it. To kiss Adelaide and go out with her... that's something he wanted to do, but with the dare attached... it didn't seem worth it.

"Rodrick?"

But now he didn't have time to think. The Coach was being dragged out of the mall and to keep himself hidden, he didn't want another second to cup Adelaide's cheeks and kiss her.

He could feel her heart beating a mile a minute against his chest. She had worn some crappy 99 cent store cherry chapstick that he always hated because he thought it smelled like play-doh, but he honestly didn't care at this point.

He finally felt her relax against him and it felt like the two of them were just standing there.

He broke the kiss first and watched as Adelaide looked for the words that she needed and wanted to say.

Rodrick had finally completed part of the dare and he felt like the biggest douchebag in the world and he had a feeling that this would come back to bite him.
