I'm currently in the school car park, waiting behind with Mateo.
Thankfully he was down to help me pull off this 'girl from math class' hangout shit. I told him about Gigi and Andreas, and he totally freaked out for me.
He agreed to offer to take me round to 'her' place after school which my brothers were fine with, considering their trust in Mateo has increased around me. But he only agreed to help if he promised he wouldn't be replaced by 'this Andreas kid' as he put it, to which I swiftly reminded him that Andreas is 2 years older than him.
My brothers had to rush home after school anyways, considering they had that event on tonight they were going to, which I assume is just mafia shit.
I texted Andreas to come pick me up 10 minutes after school ended, just to make sure we wouldn't get caught by my brothers or any of their friends.
"Put it on!" Mateo nudges me for the 5th time.
I look up at him grinning, my North Face puffer jacket in my hands. Mateo was already wearing his. "You just want Andreas to see us matching so he gets 'intimidated by our friendship'." I sassed him, but reluctantly slipped the jacket on top of my shirt and skirt outfit, as I was feeling a little cold anyways.
Trust me, we were all 20 minutes late to school today because of the argument surrounding my outfit.
... but I won as usual.
"Urgh, yes obviously." Mateo replies distractedly, puffing the collar to my jacket and zipping it up for me. He grins at me when he's done, extending his arms and looking down at himself and then me, "See? Now we're perfect."
I roll my eyes, but can't help but smile at his behaviour. I turn to the entrance of the car park when I see a car roll into the lot, noticing Andreas in the driver's seat.
I wave him over to us, hearing Mateo mumble something along the lines of, "Look at this piece of shit car." before he scoffs.
So immature.
But I love him.
I elbow him discreetly and send him a look, silently communicating for him to be nice.
He raises his eyebrows at me in retaliation, and I copy his actions.
The stubborn dick won't back down though, continuously raising his eyebrows higher than mine, til we look like some kind of psychos.
Andreas' car snaps us out of our silent conversation though when he pulls up in front of us.
But of course I forgot just how childish Andreas is as well, which is what prompts him to get out of his, most likely to size up Mateo.
Oh boy...
"So this must be Mateo." Andreas says as greeting, practically spitting Mateo's name.
