CHAPTER 19

An hour after school ends, I am still waiting for Edward.

After Shrek proposed to Fiona, I almost forgot about my deal with Edward. We were supposed to meet after school so he could 'explain everything'. Like why his skin is so pale and cold and ugly white, and why he is so strong that he can rip up trees...

But an hour after school finishes, I am still waiting qnd there is no sign of him.

I get my ohone out of my pocket and angrily text him.

WHERE are you?? I've been waiting for an hour!!

I wait a few minutes and then my phone beeps.

Sorry Julia! I had to leave early. Can we talk another time?🥵😩👅🦵

Maybe I'm still just sad from today but suddenly I don't want to deal with Edward and his problems. I don't even want to know what his stupid secret is. I don't care about him.

So I text him back.

No. I don't want to see you again. You had one chance and you ruined it. This friendship is over. Xx

I block him.

I am about to leave when suddenly I hear some emo music.

If I see Snape, I'm going to grab his ears and throw him over to Australia to be eaten by crocodiles, I think angrily as i follow the sound of it.

But when I look round the corner, I see Fiona, sitting on a bench and crying loudly while screaming the lyrics. I quickly hide and watch her.

After a few minutes she turns the music off and gets up.

I have two options. I could leave her and go home since I'm tired and hungry...

But she is acting so suspicious right now. I was kind of doubting my theory before, but now I am 100% sure that it is true. Fiona is Donald's daughter and somehow Shrek is involved. I have to save him.

So i guess there is no other option...

I am going to follow Fiona home.

I am so happy that i will be able to uncover her screret and expose her to shrek that I don't even notice her stopping in teh middle of the road and i almost walk into her.

Just in time, I dive into a nearby swimming pool and she starts walking again. Phew. It islucky that i am so awesome.

I get out the swimming pool and start following her agian. She walks down an alley and stips at a mansion almost as big as Shrek's.

Wow! It is so big! Maybe I will try to make friends with her.

She doesn't go in immediately. She texts someone on her phone and behins listening to her emo music again. I wait impatiently in the tree i am hiding in. Why isn't she going in her housr??

Finally, a car pulls up in the driveway and i sigh in relief. The tree was beginning to stab my body. I watch with Fiona as someone gets out.

A green someoen.

Shrek??

Oh no! Suddenly, Fiona's plan makes much more sense. She is probably going to knock Shrek out, tie him up. steal his car and then shreknap him!! Dhe is probably working on Donald Trump's orders, I heard about this online. He kidnaps ogres and eats their fingers.

I have to save Shrek!

While Shrek and Fiona walk into the house, I look ip at the windows. Could i somehow break in?
