You wake up, it's December 31. Zhongli's birthday. But also the new year. You can hear everyone being excited about the new year from downstairs. So you change and then went down for some breakfast.

Ningguang: We have the Lantern Rite. You experienced it before.
You: Theres actually gonna be an update on January 5 with the Lantern Rite. I'm super excited since not only there's Shenhe's banner, there's also rerun banners for Xiao, Ganyu and Zhongli. And they haven't even came home yet!
You: Oh, and by the way, happy birthday Zhongli!

Aether: So you haven't obtained them yet?

You: Alright guys, we should get fireworks for later.

When you turned, Venti was drinking up the wine.
You: Venti...I thought I said don't drink the wine...
Venti: Sorry...*drinks*...It's so good...*drinks*...ah...*drinks*...it's all finished!
You: *sighs*
Venti: *yawns* I feel kinda tired...
Paimon: That's just what you get for drinking so much, Tone-Deaf Bard!
Aether: I think he's drunk...for the 1000th time this year.
You: Wow, he has gone drunk 1000 times this year?!

Everyone was back with the fireworks and stuff.
Later everyone partied and then when it went 12:00AM, they blasted out the fireworks.
You: Hey Venti, I know a better place to see the fireworks. Follow me.
You bring Venti to the balcony area.
Venti: How about I play a song for you?
You: Yeah, while we're watching the fireworks.
You: All together, we'll make sure that this year will be better than the last.
