When you went downstairs, the game is open, and it's downloading the resources.

You: Wait. Recently, I was on Google Chat with Lumine, Aether's twin sister. When I played Genshin at that time, I was doing Kokomi's story quest since I haven't found the time to complete it.
Ayaka: Which update did you join?
You: Version 2.2. At Hu Tao's banner, which was the last one for that version.
Ayaka: I see...
You: Kokomi is stuck in this world too, remember? Her NPC was there anyway. Before that happened, the NPCs of the characters here in my world weren't there, and their respective story quests won't start due to "a problem".
Venti: Maybe Lumine had some sort of ability that lets her change the rules of the game.

Hours had passed, and you finally completed the 3rd chapter for the quest.

You went to the banners and started 3 10 draws. No Ayato.

You did a few single pulls. Still no Ayato.
You: *sighs* Time to buy Primogems...
After what it seemed like you were at 70 pity, you finally made the pity 80. It became a 5-star. But, sadly, you lost the 50/50.
You: NOOO
You: WHY, (any standard banner character you always lose the 50/50 to) WHY?!
Ayaka: Calm down, y/n...you can do more...
Venti: And you still have me to get!
You: Wait a minute...there's a good luck ritual for a free Ayato!
You: It might give me a guaranteed Ayato, just like before when I got Itto at 0 pity!
After doing the good luck ritual you remembered, you did a 10 pull and got not 1, but 2 of Ayato and a (standard banner character you never/hardly ever lose the 50/50 to)!
You: IT WORKS OMIGOD
Ayaka: Seems like it really does work!
You: Now to start buying more Primogems for-
You heard a beep from your phone. It's a Google chat notification. It says there's a message from...Ayato?
Brie probably added him already. Lucky you!
When you checked the Google chat, this is what you saw:
Ayato: I am the head of the Kamisato Clan and Yashiro Commissioner, Kamisato Ayato. Whoever is (your username), I would like to give you my sincerest apologies for not having to get to know you further. I will be going now, there's a lot of work to do.
And that's it. You got Ayaka's phone and gave it to her so she can leave a message for her brother.
Wait a minute...Kokomi also haven't added Gorou to the chat yet! Maybe you should do that now.
(After that, you did like 75 pulls (got the reference? Lol) to get Venti.)
