I'm gonna say this now.
Your chance has come and gone and you know,
it's just a little too late, a little too wrong and I can't wait.
But you know all the right things to say.
You know that it's just a little too late.

"Harry?" Draco said, breaking him from his thoughts. "Can you say something?"

"No." Harry said simply.

"What... what do you mean, no?" Draco asked, sounding confused.

"No. I can't say something. I... I don't know what to say. I don't know... what... what did you... are you serious?" Harrys said, his anger rising. After everything last year... he's.... how can he do this right now?

"Am I... what? Of course I'm serious. You think I'd joke about something like this?" That just made Harry even more angry.

"Well-! What the hell?" Harry said in a loud voice. It wasn't quite a yell, but it was close enough. Draco stepped back, clearly not expecting this response.

"I..."

"What exactly am I supposed to say? I'm... I'm with Blaise... He... He's my boyfriend... I'm dating Blaise and you just tell me that you're in love with me? After everything last year? I mean... you know what, yeah... this is really selfish of you! I'm happy with Blaise I-!"

"You think I don't know that!?" Draco shouted, cutting him off. "I know you're happy with Blaise, Ok? I know you are and I'm sorry! I told you it was selfish of me but... I was drowning... and... you asked! I didn't want to lie to you! I'm..." Harry found himself calming down and realizing he'd been a bit of an arse. But he still felt like his feelings were valid.

"I... look D... I care about you so much and... this time last year, hearing you say that would have been everything to me. But... I care about Blaise so much... and... this is just really confusing for me right now... I... You're too late, Draco." Draco choked on a sob and nodded.

"I know... now that I've said it... I just want you to know that I love you and that I think I always will." Draco turned around and walked away in a pace so fast that Harry didn't think he'd be able to catch up with him even if he wanted to. He turned around the opposite corner and was met with the angry face of his boyfriend. Shit.

"You heard me tell him that I care about you and that I am with you and that I want to be with you!" Harry said, running his hands through his already messy hair. He and Blaise were in Harry's dorm room and had been having what felt like the same conversation over and over and over again.

"You also said you were confused. What are you confused about? Do you have feelings for him?" Blaise said, crossing his arms at his chest. Harry felt like screaming.

"Oh my Merlin, Blaise. Look at me." Harry said, standing up and cupping Blaise's face with his hands. "I am with you, I want to be with you." Blaise looked at him and got a tender smile for just a moment before pulling away.

"But why are you confused? I've always felt like second to Draco and now hearing that... you know how I feel about it all, so why can't you just tell me if you have feelings for him?" Harry sighed.

"Because I don't know Blaise! I don't- I don't know, Ok? I... all I know is that I care about you a lot. And... look... you know that I had feelings for him before. In the least dramatic way possible... he was the reason I knew I liked boys. But that doesn't mean that those feelings are still there. It's hard to move in between them because... I care about him. He's my best friend, and you know that. I just... It's all confusing, Ok? But that doesn't mean that I don't want to be with you. I do!" Harry said, desperately. He had to get Blaise to believe that. He placed his hand on Blaise's cheek. Blaise grabbed Harry's hand and squeezed it quickly before removing it form his face.
