Remus Lupin
"I'll put her to work if no one else chooses to do so." Severus speaks up as the topic of where to place Ms. Moon for her night of detention rises.
"Of cour–"
"Actually." I speak up. "I could definitely use her help today, if you don't mind, Albus?" As if not expecting anyone else to volunteer, Snape looks surprised.
"Surely, you won't have her do much in your state, Lupin. This is detention and it should be treated as such." Snape responds bitterly.
"Considering the 'state' I'm in, I might have her do more work than you, saying as I'm going to need to prepare my classroom for when I'm away."
If Albus doesn't agree to let her assist me, she's going to murder me.
"Of course, Remus. Y/n Moon will be assigned to your class. Severus, since you're insistent on obtaining help from our students, you'll be assigned the Weasley twins." Albus smiles kindly at the brooding man. "Great. Now everyone is happy."
Thank fuck.
I smile and give the older man a nod. When glancing over to Severus, he's still watching me with a bitterness, appearing to be peering into my soul.

Y/n Moon
"Thank you!" I smile brightly as Remus opens the door to his classroom, giving him a great hug. He lets out an airy groan to this.
"You're welcome." I quickly release him, acknowledging that I may have hurt him.
"Are you alright?" I place my hands on one of his shoulders, guiding him back to his chair.
"Fine."
Remus looks like death. He appears weak, his skin clammy and pale whereas the bags beneath his eyes are seeming nearly purple. His hair sticks to his forehead as he leans back in the chair, taking a deep but shallow breath. I place my hand against his forehead feeling his skin fiery against my hand.
"For fucks sake, Remus, you're burning up." I frown.
"It's fine. I'm like this every night before the full moon." He dismisses.
I turn and make my way towards his quarters. I search the room for a small towel. Finding one in his bathroom, I lift my wand and cast the Aguamenti charm, soaking it in cold water. I leave it at the nightstand beside his bed and go back in search of Remus.
"Come on, let's go." I crouch down lifting his arm over my shoulders. He groans again as I lift him. Using me to support his weight, he follows as I steer him towards his room and onto his bed.
"Where's the chocolate?" I ask. He points to the small drawer at his night stand. I open the drawer, finding two and a half candy bars left. I take the opened one and hand it to him before grabbing the towel from earlier and folding it. He begins picking at the chocolate as I lay the folded towel over his forehead.
"That's cold." He complains reaching for his duvet.
"And you're hot." I swat his hand from the blanket. He raises a brow at me. "Glad to see you still have your sense of humor." I shake my head grinning.
"Nothing could steal away my comedic personality." He attempts to smile.
"Seriously though– don't cover up with that thing. Do you have a sheet or something?"
"Of course I do. Over there." He points. "In that cupboard." I walk to where he points and retrieve the sheet.
"Here." I lazily unfold it and hand it to him. He covers his body with the sheet, giving a small shiver.
