Months went by of repetitive nothingness. I yearned for the perk of freedom presented in the addition to our Christmas Holidays. Doing my best to ignore Snape, I completed my week of detention along with continuing to attend class, but other than that he was my Professor. 'No more'. Despite this I began turning to Lupin as a subject for solace, though thankfully that hadn't been the main concern of our conversations.

"Hello, my dear."

"Hello, Draco." I lift my eyes from my book, placing them on the boy in front of me.

"Will you be coming to my home for the holidays?" He asks with a hopeful gleam in his eye.

"We've still got a few weeks, Draco." I look away, guilty.

"I know, I just want to owl home to arrange any plans for you."

"I can't..." I answer, regretfully. "I've signed up to stay here. I'd like to possibly do some work."

"Work? For the break?"

"It seems that I've fallen behind in potions, though I have reason to believe Severus is grading me poorly out of pettiness. I'll be making up some of my assignments." Draco nods his head in understanding.

"Sh!" A girl hushes me from across the library for speaking too loud.

"YOU, SH!" I whisper venomously.

"I wish I could stay here with you, y/n... But I've already told my father I'd be coming home."

"It's okay, Draco. I'd never ask that of you anyway." I stand from my seat and give him a kiss on his cheek. "Come on, I think it's time to leave for Hogsmead."

We make our way down the village, stopping by various shops before heading towards Hogs Head. I shiver, feeling a chill from the sudden warmth of the pub. I rub my hands together and smile as I take in my surroundings.

"It's been too long."

"It hasn't been long at all." Draco rolls his eyes at my comment.

"It has been for me."

"You're being dramatic. I'll get us a booth. Go get us drinks." I grin as he walks away before turning my head back to the bar, seeing our very own professor sitting at a stool. I make my way towards his seat and stand casually beside him as he downs the remainder of his glass.

"Remus Lupin." I tut. "My, my... drinking so proudly in a place with students. For shame." He turns his head, surprisingly.

"Y/n?"

"And alone at that?"

"What are you doing here?" He looks around the room, seeing no other students beside me and Draco.

"Okay so there aren't any other students. Draco and I still count though so—For shame." I shake my head once again. "Aren't you supposed to be chaperoning?"

"Aren't you supposed to be in HoneyDukes?" He raises a brow.

"Jokes on you— I already went." I grin lifting up my back for him to see. "Chocolate?" I offer up a bar. He takes it willingly.

"What are you doing here? This is no place for a child."

"Well this child— needed a drink." I point my thumbs towards myself. "So did my pet ferret over there." I point to Draco, through the crowd.

"You're under the drinking age."

"I'm well aware of my age, Professor Lupin but I appreciate the reminder. Aberforth doesn't mind." I gesture my head towards the bar. "In fact, he's one of the only fine people who doesn't." I grin, turning my eyes back to the bar and lift my hand catching Aberforth's attention. He gives a kind wink in understanding before filling two glasses with firewhisky.

"I see."

"Quite." I ignore the glasses as they're set in front of me still smirking at Remus. "Thank you, Aberforth." I smile, paying him quickly.

"Who's this lovely lady, and why is she speaking to you?" I hear a man speak from behind me.

"It took you long enough." Remus rolls his eyes.

"As much as I hate to admit it, I don't roll out of bed this pretty. Art takes time." He comes into view, revealing his shoulder length curly hair. "Hello, darling. I'm not sure I caught your name."

"Y/n. Moon." I lift my hand to shake his. "You are?"

"Sirius. Black." He smirks, taking my hand. "How do you know, Grumpy over here?" He nods to Remus, still holding my hand. Remus glances from the two of us, to our hands, and back up.

"She's my student."

"That I am... And his favorite to say the least." I wink.

"I have no doubt." His smirk never leaves his face.

"Y/n!" Draco calls. "Hurry up." He mouths the words, irritated.

"Right." I chuckle, releasing Sirius' hand. "I'd better get back. Professor Lupin; Always a pleasure. And it was nice meeting you..." I let the words linger, forgetting his name. His smirk widens further.

"Sirius."

"Ah—" I point my index finger in remembrance. "I'll see you around." I motion around the room. I bow, taking my drinks, before leaving the two of them to converse with one another.

"You've wasted so much time."

"The night is still young, dear boy. Don't fret. We've only our lives to live so live them to the fullest." I wink while taking a sip from my glass as I place his own before him.

"You're so full of shit." He rolls his eyes, taking a large gulp.

"Who is that?" he asks.

"Professor Lupin."

"I know that. I'm talking about the other one."

"Oh that's Sirius Black."

"It is, isn't it?"

"Yes?" I frown in confusion. "Do you know him?"

"I think so. Not personally, but we're family."

"Oh... Well you've got a beautiful family." I look back over to Sirius, smirking.

"Fuck off." He rolls his eyes, taking another gulp.

"Sometimes, Draco, I look at you, and I think, 'wow, someones gonna come sweep you off of your feet.' but then you open your mouth."

"Ha-ha." He rolls his eyes with a grin, before lifting up his glass. "I'm gonna go get another." Draco stands, and I finish the rest of my glass.

"Get me one too!" I call over to him. He nods in acknowledgement. He comes back a few minutes later, carrying a full bottle.

"I've returned." My eyes drop down to the bottle in excitement. "In a quarter of the amount of time it took you to get two glasses."

"Very nice." I grin, lifting my glass for him to fill. "We're going to drink until I've forgotten this entire semester. Deal?"

"Deal." We clink our glasses together, smiling.

"Oh shit..." I groan into my pillow feeling a sharp pain shoot through my head from the light igniting the room. I feel the ache of my muscles as I attempt to lift my head. Giving up, I allow my face to fall back into the pillow.

This bed is bigger than mine. I open my eyes slightly, realizing I have absolutely no idea where I am. Having no strength to ask questions or even get up to wander the room, I shut my eyes again. The sheets smell familiar. What is that?

Chocolate?
