Chapter 16

-Y/N POV-

As I woke up for the next day all the memories from last night flood my brain. The casita is going to fall. Hernando is really Bruno.. will the ending reslly be as clean and nice as it seemed?

Who knows only Bruno does I guess.

I grabbed my shoes and put my my clothes for the day. I head out the front door and make my way up to the Madrigals family to help Julieta today.

Walking down the trail I saw Luisa carrying donkeys. Strangely she was slower today. She went to throw the donkeys in the barn and dropped them. I awkwardly gave her a smile. 

"You okay Luisa?" I asked walking over. Luisa dropped her shoulders and began to sob. "The- the donkeys are too much! I always get behind carrying them and then everyone rushes me and I'm being forced to do more-!" Luisa sobbed. I listened to her rant. "Luisa.. hey don't stress your self. Just take a brea-" I was cut off by Luisa giving me a look. "A break? I came take a break. Abuela expects me to get everything done. I never get a break." She sobs and I pat her back. "Hey hey... you go take a break. I'll get the donkeys in the barn and round them up. You just relax for a little." She stopped sobbing and looked at me. "T-thanks.. Tía Y/N." She smiled at me. I smiled back at her and went to get the donkeys. She walked off.

"I'm starting to realize how pushy Abuela is..." I mumble to my self. I grab the reins of one donkey and lead it to the barn.

"This is gonna take a while.." I sigh.

I got another donkey ran it to the barn.

I chased another one around the town and finally got it by cornering it.

I hopped on one and screamed as we ran around in random directions. Finally grabbing its reins and controlling it into the barn.

The others were easier said than done. As I closed the barn and let out a huff I smiled. "Well.. that was hard." I say walking back to town. I looked around and found Luisa in a hammock by the river. I smiled and laughed. I headed down to her.

"I got the donkeys all rounder up for you Luisa." I gave her a thumbs up. "Thank you Y/N.. it was.. it was nice to relax for once." She smiled and stood up. "It means a lot that you did that for me." She patted my back. "It's no problem. I enjoy helping you and your family." I smile. "You should come over for dinner again." Luisa invited. "I'm sure Abuela won't mind." She said unsure.

"I can see. Come on leads head back home." I say as we head off up the road back to her home. As we open the door we headed inside. "Abuela, can Y/N join us for dinner?" Luisa asked walking up to her grandmother.

"Sure.." she said uncertain and looked at me. She still wasn't to pleased with me that I had talked about Bruno or was slightly curious about him. Well I found him I hate to break it to her.

Just be nice.. I smile and wave at Abuela as she turned away and kept walking up the stairs. Luisa walked back down to me. "Shes umm.. just tired." Luisa lied awkwardly. "Ya.. tired.." I laughed nervously.

"See you at dinner. I got to set things up. Bye." She waved and walked off. I waved back and looked around. Mariano was talking to Isabela up by her room.

Mariano went to kiss her and she looked away awkwardly. A flower grew in between them and hit him in the face. "Ow! Ow.." Mariano said holding his nose. "Oh I'm so sorry.. I didn't mean to." Isabela apologies forcefully.
