- Y/N POV-

Bruno has been acting.. off this week. Usually he's all lovey and talking to me more than this. I've moved into the Madrigals home. Bruno insisted and Julieta agreed. She loved that I was there everyday to talk to her and help cook. Bruno loved it I think a little more.

I've noticed Bruno was being a bit distant. I asked Samuel what was wrong. He didn't answer. Of course he didn't answer. He's a rat.

I walked through the large opening in the Casita. I looked up at the sky. The bright blue color and the white clouds were beautiful. I let a sigh escape my lips. I'm worried about Bruno.. I looked down at the necklace he had given me. What if this prophecy doesn't come true? What if this one's wrong..

"Ah! Y/N!" Julieta exclaimed excitedly as she rushed over to me. I turned around quickly and smiled brightly. "Julieta, good afternoon." I greeted my best friend.

"Good afternoon to you as well. Have you seen Bruno?" She asked looking around. I watched her curiously. "No.. I haven't seen him since last night. Julieta has he been acting... him self lately? To me he seems off." I admired looking down embarrassed. I mean Bruno was her brother. Maybe she could tell.

"No why? He seems like Bruno to me. You know how he can be. He's probably just... nervous." Julieta said carefully. I looked up and furrowed my brow. "Nervous? For what?" I asked. Julieta smiled and waved her hands infront of her. "Oh nothing nothing." She giggled nervously.

"I best get off to Pepa. She needs help." I watched as she rushed off out of the casita. I let out a huff and walked up the stairs. I looked around at the lines of rooms.

I headed up to Bruno's room and walked in. I looked around. It was quite and dark. I headed over to our room and opened the door. Bruno was sat on the edge of the bed. I walked over to him.

"Hey Bruno.." I said softly as I sat beside him. "Hey.." he mumbled. He had bags under his eyes and ran a hand through his curly hair.

"Everything okay amor?" I asked putting a hand on his back. He looked at me. "Yeah.. yeah everything's okay." He nods, I looked at him uncertain. "You sure? You've been acting off..." I said signing.

"Y/N I'm fine. I promise. Just.. I've been busy." He shrugs. I nod in acknowledgement. The town has been fussing him around.. "I have to go. Hey. Meet me down at the river. Where we always go." He said quickly getting up and rushing out. Leaving me on the bed dumbfounded.

He always leaves when we try to talk.. I stood up and walked over to a picture he had set up of us on his dresser. I picked it up and looked at it. A small smile spreading across my face.

"I love you Bruno... but what's wrong? I wish I could see into peoples minds." I set the photo down and head to the door. I looked behind me at the picture as I opened the door. I smiled and headed out.

~ 3 hours later ~

"Still haven't seen Bruno.. all day." I groaned outloud. Mirabel came rushing down with Camilo. "Hello Y/N!" They said in unison. I looked back at them and smiled. "Hey." I waved and giggled. They stopped infront of me. "Isn't it time for your date with Bruno?" Mirabel asked. I looked at her cautiously. How does she know..? "Ugh yes." I nod.

"Oh good! Have fun!" Camilo said and smirked. Mirabel giggled. "Yeah, see ya later. Aunt Y/N." Mirabel says emphasizing the aunt. Suspicious.

I waved at them and headed out quickly. I didn't wear anything fancy. Just a nice green dress. I headed out to the river quickly. Everyone was acting strange today.

Pepa rushed me around today freaking out saying everything must be perfect for some big day. Julieta urged me that Bruno was fine. Antonio tried to distract me with his animals when I wanted to talk to Bruno... everyone's been pushing me away from him. Is something wrong?

As I headed down the river bank I spotted Bruno. He was sitting down by the water. I headed down to him and smiled. The days memories fading away as I reached him.

He looked up at me and stood up. "Hello Y/N.." he said nervously. "Hello Bruno." He smiled brightly and hugged him. He hugged back slowly.

"Nice night." I commented as we pulled away to look up at the sky. "Sure is." Bruno said his voice shaky. I looked at him. "Bru-" I was cut off by Bruno grabbing my hands.

"Y/N I want to tell you something." He said his eyes wavering nervously. I stared at him urging him to go one. "I umm.. I wanted to ask you this but wanted to wait for the right time. I know we've been together a while now and I think it's time I asked.. you've made me so happy since the moment we met. Even if I pretended it wasn't me... but anyways." He shook his head in embarrassment as his face turned red. I watched him and smiled brightly. "Will you marry me Y/N?" He asked. I stayed quite. His smile faltered as I stayed quite.

"Yes Bruno! Yes I'll marry you!" I giggled and he quickly stood up smiling. "Really? You had me worried.." he said shaking his head as a smile crossed his face.

"Of course I'll marry you. Who else do I love in this world as much as you?" I asked as I pulled him down into a kiss.

The heart shaped locket on my neck glowed slightly. I looked down curious as I broke the kiss. "Is this the moment..?" I asked him. "No. Not yet." He quickly kissed me again. I eased into the kiss and wrapped my arms around his neck.

He let his shaky hands wrap around my waist. I smiled into the kiss at his action.

We pulled away as we heard cheers coming from behind us. The entire family was there clapping and cheering. Bruno chuckled and looked at them then me. I looked away and back at him.

"That's why they were acting so strange today. They knew." I laughed and Bruno joined me. I punched his arm playfully. "No wonder Mirabel called me her aunt so weirdly. I guess I am now officially. Their real aunt." I shook my head as Bruno gave his family a thumbs up.

Long over due I know, I'm sorry. I'm on summer break and I wanna write now without the stress of school. Freshman year is done for me and I'm a sophmore now. I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I hope to have more out soon. And...
