Short Storie 2

-Bruno POV-

I stood in the middle of town. I was trying to prepare for me and Y/N's date tonight.. "Samuel come on." I tapped my foot on the floor. "I'm not getting her flowers.. isn't that too much? What if she thinks I'm over board?" I ask bitting my nails and freaking out.

Samuel squeaked loudly at me and shook his head annoyed. He crawled up the table to a bouquet of orchids. "Those look.. nice." I nod hesitantly and grabbed them. Samuel squeaked in approval.

I pay the market owner and we head on back home. I had bought flowers, a blanket for our picnic. Mirabel had helped me make a small teddy bear for Y/N.

Me and Samuel made it back to the house and Mirabel ran up to me. "I got it done!" She smiled and grabbed me. "Oh that's good!" I say happily as she showed me the white tux she had made for me.

-Y/N POV-

I headed up the road to the Madrigals home. Bruno had asked me on a date a few days ago. I walked up the door and casitas window shutters waved. "Hello casita." I smiled and waved back as I knocked on the door.

The door opened and Bruno stood infront of me. "Hello Bru-" I say before realizing it was Camilo. He shifted back and chuckled. "Got ya. BRUNO YOUR GIRL-FRIENDS HERE!" Camilo yelled loudly. I chuckled at the boys action and waited.

Bruno came running down the steps in a white tux. He tripped over his feet and quickly came up to me. He thanked Camilo and closed the door. I giggled at his action and smiled. "Hello mi amor." I walk up and hug him tightly. He hugged back quickly and nuzzled my neck. "Hello.." he said quietly.

"Oh shoot I forgot-" he said being cut off by casita dragging him back into the house. "Woww-" he said as he was wiped away. I giggled and clasped my hands together and rocked on the back of my shoes.

Casita pushed him back out of the house. He had a bouquet of orchids and a teddy bear in hand. He smiled nervously at me and held them out. I blushed and took them.

"Aww thank you Bruno. Their lovely." I said happily as I looked over the flowers then the teddy bear. I giggled at the admittedly terrible stitching. It was still cute.

I leaned over to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. His face turned red and he stood straight up. A smile crossed his face and he looked at me. "Your welcome.." he said embarrassed looking down.

"Come on." He said grabbing my hand and walked down the road. He looked me over again as I followed. "I love that you wear that necklace everyday, mi amor." He smiled at me happily the moonlight causing his face to illuminate.

"Yes.." I say looking down at my necklace. "I love it, and I can't wait for the day you tell me what it means." I say looking at him. I was curious about what the meaning was but I had my guesses.

"You'll find out one day." He chuckled and looked away biting his lip.

We made it to the spot and I set the orchids and teddy bear down gently. My eyes widened at the beautiful surroundings. "This was.. this was the place we caught fireflies." I say looking at Bruno with wide eyes.

He chuckled and nodded. "Yep, it's beautiful isn't it?" He asked looking at the lovely glowing insects all around. "Yes it is." I say wrapping my arms around him and laying my head in his chest.

He wrapped his arms around me slowly and rubbed the small of my back.

-Bruno POV- 

"But it's not as beautiful as you." I say forcing all my confidence out on that. I felt her cheeks lift up in a smile against my chest. Samuel squeaked in my ear. I almost jumped out of my shoes. Where did he come from... he squeaked again quietly. Compliment her?... how.. umm ok

"Hah, did I say beautiful? I meant gorgerous-" I say pronouncing the word wrong. "I mean- ugh." I say fumbled over my words embarrassed. Samuel slapped his face and crawled away quickly as Y/N looked up at me.

"I'm gorgerous?" She giggled and looked up at me with those beautiful e/c loving eyes. I blushed and chuckled. "Y-yeah. That's umm yep." I chuckled accepting my defeat.

"You're so silly Bruno. But I love you." She said leaning up closer to me and placing a soft loving kiss on my lips.

I pulled away after a few seconds. "Knock knock knock, knock on wood." I say pulling away and hitting a tree. She laughed and rolled her eyes playfully.

(Sweet short chapter to build up for the next few. Also I didn't forget about Samuel. We love Samuel here)
